I'm sorry because I never leave bad reviews, but seeing only 5 star reviews on this product is insane and misleading. The hose I received was not new, but seems as though it's actually from WW2. Cool for decoration, but in no way a new product. It was rusting on both sides, the fabric had a massiv stain on it, and the airway was flakin debris into the mask and an awful taste and smell. No use attaching a filter to the end of the hose because there was so much more conaminants inside the hose, gets in my eyes, mouth, and once again the smell is terrible, couldn't wait to take the hose of, couldn't take more than 2 breaths.
