Overall, I am quite happy with this purchase. Funny enough, I gave this 5 stars even though I rate each category (pain relief, comfort, and easy to use - as 4 stars each). Here's why:My pain is not that bad, but my foot, and specifically my big toe, routinely aches when I overdo it physically (and sometimes just because it wants to). This device pulls the big toe to a straighter position, and it is not that comfortable at first. But, if you pull slightly - get used to that setting - then continue to gradually increase the distance, I find it actually helps a bit like stretching helps your muscles.It is not comfortable, so I highly encourage you to put this on when you know you're not going anywhere for a while. Getting ready to binge your favorite show? Put this darn thing on and watch. You won't notice it after a while.Easy to use - This is one area I considered 3 stars, as this is a contraption, for sure. But, once you get it - you'll get it.Overall, I've seen benefits but not sure it is straightening it up - yet. I have seen relief in the aches, and that is good enough for me for now!

The jury is still out on whether this will be effective long-term or not, but bunion correcting isn't exactly an overnight miracle. However, paradoxically, sometimes the device itself hurts my bunion even more. Rare, but it happens.I'll keep using this in the hopes of results.

I bought this for my wife, who has a pretty bad bunion and sleeps with these on. We have tried so many different kinds of bunion splints, it's ridiculous. According to her, this is the best one we've tried yet!It is more comfortable than the others. It fits your foot in a more comforting way, that also allows for better adjustment. She has large feet for a woman, making many other splints feel crammed . This one did not fell that way and fit very well.The ratcheting feature is better than others as well. It allows for more adjustment and holds tightly throughout the night.There were some accessories that were nice to have too, as an added bonus.All in all this really is the best bunion splint we've tried out of at least a dozen.

This is a nifty little item that I have found helps me when my bunion pain flares up. My bunions are not severe enough for surgery, but every so often are painful at the joint. I slip this "bunion corrector" in place and where it while I am sitting and wear it for an hour or so. It's easy to put on and take off. While on, it gently stretches the joint and my foot feels better. I am not convinced that this "corrects" a bunion, but it helps me and is reasonably comfortable to wear. Two thumbs up.

Tried for month. Very painful pulling great toe. Yes it was temporarily straight while product attached, but, toe goes right back. This does not address the 1st metatarsal causing the problem. Believe me, I wish it did... followup. Strap pressure weakened 5th metatarsal, it finally broke at the tip. Not good for me. But you know, it may well work on you. My bunion was extreem. If yours is just starting, it may work. May not be painful either.
