It took a while. On I think page 4 it had me install 1 piece and then on page 5 I had to install a crossbar using predrilled holes I covered on page 4! It was a little infuriating. Also, while putting the drawer slides on I guessed which holes to install the in cuz the pictures are really vague... I screwed it in place and when I went to put the other side on it was clear I guessed wrong and had to redo the first side. Lol. It was a very interesting experience but the price was pretty great and it's exactly what I needed so ultimately I'm happy with it. But... yea. Those directions. My partner quietly mentioned he's around to help cuz he could see a stress fight could've easily come to pass in putting this together XD

Will be nice forsure once I can ever figure out how to install drawer roller hardware. Instructions only give clear shape picture of one part out 3 different parts installment photos. Enlarged clear photo of each piece would help a lot when instructions are wacked. My cart is still in parts on living room floor for weeks now stopped on step 3B drawer roller hardware installation.

Item is very sturdy and beautiful. Problem is that when received the styrofoam was flat as a sheet of paper and very messy pulling from the box. Instructions were not good as we had to pull it apart and put it back together 3 times. Took 3 hours to do, due to very very poor Instructions.

It took me a few hours to put together, but I put it together by myself, instructions were fairly easy to look at and understand. It looks absolutely awesome in my kitchen. Can't wait to put it to use!

I spent 4 hours putting this together the instructions were horrible they had you put together pieces that you had to remove to put another piece together the shelves were lopsided the top wouldn’t go on straight I finally got it mostly together & it looked nice & seems sturdy but it’s not worth the money for the aggravation & time spent putting it together

Cabinet is perfect for the area in my kitchen. However, the shipping box was full of ants in the styrofoam and once I completed the assembly, I had to contact an exterminator to take care of the ant invasion in my kitchen. In addition, there assembly directions are not accurate: indicating to assemble the towel holder, which covers the holes for other pieces to be properly attached. Recommend the product; however, certainly don't recommend to have it shipped in the manner it was shipped to me.

This is a nice cabinet and a hell of a bargain for the price. The problem is the way the cabinet is packaged. The styrofoam that surrounds the cabinet gets flattened and crumbles into little pieces because of the weight of the cabinet. It's a good piece of furniture but because of the weight and the way most carrier's handle heavy items to deliver, it arrives damage the majority of times, like in my case. Believe me people once you see this cabinet you will not believe this is $128.00 without taxes by the way....😀 Like I said my cabinet arrived damaged, but like always Amazon has made this right and to my complete satisfaction.

Some of the pre drilled holes were wrong, so a drawer won't completely close. The directions were terrible, you couldn't understand which part was supposed to go where. Some parts were not labeled. I wanted to replace the whole kitchen in my basement with these products because I liked the looks of them, well that isn't going to take place now, I will go out and buy the rest of my cubboards already put together.

Boxed showed up in isolated eastern Canada in bad shape.. but the island itself was in mint condition. I figured I’d put effort into doing a review because I read a lot of bad ones but we said what the heck order it anyway I’ll fix it if it breaks. No issue. I kinda feel bad for the mail guy having to lug it up my driveway and up 6 stairs and down 15 foot deck to my door in a snow storm. The thing was friggin heavy so I don’t blame him for the box condition. Reading the reviews I assumed the instructions would be complete garbage but we got them and they were actually VERY helpful as there are so many pieces and they were identified successfully. The steps are a little ordered wrong but manageable. Overall it took us about 3 hours to assemble with a few short breaks. Would recommend this product to anyone.

It was a pain to assemble, the instructions are full of mistakes, we did, undo and redo many step, saying left when it was right, also there was so many chipping, scratching that we saw adter 2 hours making it that I won't return it, but I wish I could at least get a partial reimbursement, it looks used and it's new!!! Otherwise, it has everything I wanted and is sturdy.

Where do I start? I purchased this item because I needed a little more counter space in my kitchen, but this product is not only cheap and defective, but it comes with the worst instructions I've ever read. Improper labeling of parts, damaged and broken parts. It took several hours to assemble as I had to measure each part due to improper or no labels on panels. The quality is so cheap and not worth the price or time. After assembly, my son accidentally spilled some soda syrup on the top and it actually seeped in and stained the board. As per instruction, I did not use any chemicals, just water and a sponge to clean the mess, but it actually scrubbed the top material off revealing the cheap particle board beneath (same day it was assembled).The legs were not the same length and wobbly....I was skeptical after reading previous reviews, but I took a chance because it actually "looks" quite nice in the photos. I would not recommend anyone purchasing this product. Pay a little more for a storage/island that is of good quality!

This boxed item when arrived was beaten up. The box was dented. There were many scratches and one significant dent in the counter top. It is a heavy item, I am sure that is why because it is hard to handle along the way. I however put it together and I love it.

super cheap quality particle board, which had 6 slightly damaged random sections, chips, gouges and adhesive finish is peeling off already and i haven't finished assembly yet,! one pre-assembled drawer is stapled together wrong, (off by half inch), so it will not close,so i have to re do what the factory failed at, 1 leg is missing a plastic end cap(so that'll scrape nicely on a hardwood floor), the instructions are faulty,a few misprints but the real knee slapper is, following step 3 makes step 4 a dead end! good luck there lmao!, not even assembled and i already need wood glue to salvage this $200 pile...i'm sure i'll encounter additional flaws as i near completion of this purchase..
