I purchased this for my gardening purposes and so my husband can use it as bedding for his snake. There are a few twigs here and there but nothing I can not remove.

This is the medium I really needed for my ailing plants. My orchids are flourishing now.

I used the moss to make a pile for my monstera plant. It worked well but there was barely enough to cover the pole. I thought I’d have some left over for other uses.

This was very high-quality moss

Was not clean moss, it was full of leaves and sticks that I had to pick out.

It makes great enrichment for your small animal in their cage.

Update 12/2: I decided to throw the rest of the unused away as I was washing the moss ready for another repot. The dust and broken moss that settled at the bottom of the bucket was just disgusting. Not too mention the amount of twigs and leaves I had to pick out. Very disappointing... Don't waste your money on this one.This is the first time I bought sphagnum moss, so I am not sure if my issues are common. I had lots of impurities in the product I received, like twigs and leaves that are obviously not part of the moss. Also the moss in my bag were mostly broken down, lots of unusable broken moss dust. My bag was also loosely packaged, nothing like the rectangular brick shown in the picture. Seems only 2/3 full compared to what is shown in the picture. The product didn't meet the AAA quality as advertised, so giving it one star. I will not buy again.
