Cute but doesn't cool
So far it's only managed to cool by 3 to 4C cooler than the room-temp. It does not cool the air in the fridge, it cools by conductance via it's cool-plate at the bottom of the one-can fridge. Although the bottom plate does get rather cold, it *barely* cools the can.It's really a desk ornament than an fridge or cooler. If you are okay with that, then it's a good buy.There is a 3-way switch which you can set to 'HOT-OFF-COLD' (the one with two dashes is COLD) and an LED inside which will go from 'RED-OFF-GREEN' to reflect 'HOT-OFF-COLD'.Setting it to HOT actually does heat up the contents a lot better than cooling them although honestly I don't see the purpose as I can't think of any item (maybe a narrow coffee cup?) that'll make use of that.I am plugging this directly into the mains using a 2 AMP USB charger, so it can't get better than that!.It has a built-in fan that's barely audible.Disappointed, although in earnest, I should've expected that.Printed a logo and used a glue stick to add to the charm, so for that it's two-stars.

Works remarkably well
So, I read all the reviews and expected this to be pointless. It isn’t. It will take a few hours to really cool your can down to super-cold but, if you are happy to just have it USBing away and you don’t want it to cool a can in a few minutes, it’s great. It does work by a cold induction plate and the fan is very quiet but, I have to say, I am really impressed.

Gimmicky Cooler
So far it's only managed to cool by 3 to 4C cooler than the room-temp. Have only experimented with egg-cups of water! It does not cool the air in the fridge, it cools by conductance via it's cool-plate at the bottom of the one-can fridge. Have not tried it with a 'can' yet [doh] but I imagine that a can will be cooler because of the conductance. I was hoping to use the 'fridge' to take on holiday to store some medication that requires cool-storage, alas my quest for something suitable must continue...I bought a USB power adapter/mains charger to use it with. The little blue LEDs are lit all the time, they appear as orange lights through the top left-hand corner.

Decoration only
This is very cute but does not fulfil it's function at all. Put in a room temperature can which did not cool at all. Put in an already chilled can which ended up at room temperature within a couple of hours. It appears to have a warming function not mentioned and nothing to indicate this function in the instructions. I returned this item as it was no use.

Simple little chiller
As written in the description of this product, it doesn't hold a lot, and it doesn't act like a conventional fridge. A normal fridge provides a cooling ambient temperature throughout the whole device where as this USB fridge just has a cooling plate which just you site your item/s on. The bigger the item the longer it will take to cool, so I only recommend the smaller can size. I've currently got this fridge cooling some medication constantly with a USB to mains adapter and it is doing the job very well. The product comes with a built in fan to help remove heat away from the unit to keep it cool so keep the fridge on a surface that is smooth with plenty of air space surrounding it.
