Great experience for parents to share with their children
Instructions are very clear on what age group this is suitable for. We were a little naughty and used this with our (reasonably sensible) 5-year old, under very tight supervision and clear instructions about washing hands not touching face etc. She loved it. She loved the whole 'lab' experience of putting the gloves and goggles on (supplied) and setting the experiment up. She was very excited to see some pretty impressive crystals too.

My daughter got this for her seventh birthday and now we are gradually working our way through the experiments. It is fab a bit plastic-y and might not last a long time but the booklet in itself is amazing to use the correct scientific terminology and she loves it doing it on her own or with me. Highly recommend if your LO wants one.

Just what we wanted for our grandson. Delivered on time. It looks very interesting and sure that he will enjoy doing the many experiments and activities. Good value for the money.

Don't bother
My daughter was keen to 'do some science' with this kit so I opened it up and found myself rather disappointed with the tatty plastic contents and just two different 'chemicals'. Upon reading the instruction book I struggled to find any experiments I couldn't have just done without this kit, it started with make an ice cube (wow!) and didn't get any better or more interesting. It just asks you to use various other things already in your kitchen with the cheap plastic contents of the 'chemistry' set. It's a complete waste of time.

Plenty of time and reading needed to succeed
We grew crystals successfully. They are smaller than expected. Copious instructions which meant we took an afternoon to get ready for a short activity. That was useful because we enjoyed the time we spent together.

Nos gusto pero es algo complicado para leer las instrucciones use el google Lens y luego tirar el producto sobrante etc de forma tan especial me pareció un horror y no volvería a comprarlo por eso
