Excellent product - don't be fooled by its simplicity
Excellent product - don't be fooled by its simplicity. I have a very fast swing and after quite a few swings and feeling as if i was losing power I deliberately slowed down and swung more at the ball position. I m 66 with a handicap of 8.5 but know i can get lower. I was determined to slow down and it took time(around 20 mins) so be patient. Having made the slow down adjustment I took it to the practice range and gradually noticed the differencein swing tempo. Taking it into the course is a different ball game - you have to concentrate on swinging the club- it is paying results. I hit thrlough the ball more consistently and I have slowed down but lost no power I have a slight gain in length but I am more consistently in the fairway. A great product well worth the money and time spent practising. Made up my mind to take it to the practice ground to warm up before going on the course.

Slow does not mean rhythmic !
I defy anybody to wait for the click ! I am a pretty solid 12 handicap and always try to keep a very slow rhythm as when I succeed my scores always drop. But this is totally ridiculous. You literally have to stop and wait until the weight falls and then any sense of rhythm is disrupted. Impossible with the exception perhaps of folks who have a discernible pause at the top of their backswing anyway. This was a total waste of money for me though and I suspect for 95% of normal golfers.

This item has done nothing for tempo. The actual pause at the stop to allow the weight to slide down for an audible click to let you know when to start the downswing is in fact a STOP. This does nothing for tempo and in my case does not produce a swing.

Expensive for what it is
I am a high handicap 68 year old with swing tempo problems, my playing partners always say that I swing too fast, 'thrashing' seems to be said a few times! So I bought the Swingclick to help me slow down my swing. The first thing I noticed was how small and rather flimsy it felt. It seemed rather expensive for a piece of Velcro and plastic. I suppose we are still paying for the R and D and tooling up to make it, hopefully it will come down in price. When I first used it it didn't work! I put it on as instructed , pointing down to my hand but I realised that my shoulder turn wasn't enough to make the Swingclick perpendicular enough for it to click! I turned it 45* and I got a click just at the right spot for my swing. But then it didn't click at the bottom of my swing because it wasn't pointing down enough! It did click in the middle of my follow through so it looks like I'll have make do with a two click practice! It did slow down my backswing but it is early days yet if my on course play will be improved. You have to have the Swingclick quite tight on your forearm and I found after 15 minutes it was hurting my arm. I will use it for swing practice, no ball, in the garden and hopefully my tempo will improve.

Simeple and easy to use.
So simple and easy to use, wish I had bought one of these ages ago. Mind you how long have they been on the market? Anyhow, I would recommend this to any golfer, no matter your handicap.

Worth the money.
Excellent product, particularly if you are prone to rush your swing. Bit fiddly to put on but a good product.

Need to be patient, but it works.
Helps develop tempo and stops rushing the downswing - sometimes on the golf course too!
