7 year old loves them! I ordered a 6 and an 8 for my tall/slim 7 year old. And surprisingly the 8 fit best. It's a tad bit baggy on her, but just fine for the at home, cold winter to come. The material isnt too thick or heavy, but it is soft, and she loves the mix and match style!
