Great
very good value for money, would recommend, and still works perfectly many months after purchase: feels a bit light but other than that is very functional. If you want rudder pedals, I'd recommend using ones from a steering wheel you have or buying them seperetely.

Love this joystick !
This joystick is perfect for gaming. I use it for ’Ace Combat 7’ and it works great. Took a while to get used to change weapon and change target. Kept selecting the wrong one and would lose my target. Am used to it now :). It fits the hand well and buttons are well positioned. Unlike some, I find it very stable to use. It has really improved my gameplay.

Better than expected...
I needed a joystick, something with a separate throttle (I'm tired of having to work around a throttle on the same stick). The good:1.The item comes out as one block; stick and throttle stuck together and looks a little naff, but you can then separate them away 'chest-width' apart which feels much, much better.2. Installing the software was easy. Go find it on their site. Do it first before connecting the HOTAS to the pc. Then just check the calibration to make sure all's working, as it did straight off with me.3.The feel and handgrip is excellent. They clearly made some effort on how a man's hand grip to a handle. It really fits into my right hand like a glove and my left hand rests on the throttle nicely. I actually felt ready for some space-flying (on X4) with this.4. I ran this on X4 which took a little trouble calibrating due to X4 having different profiles. I had cursor drift until I removed the G533 headphone USB. I found the right profile (I think it was on the Saitek X52 pro) and it all worked great after that.5. It's very responsive and can be adjusted so the stick is a little stiffer.6. There's a nice centreing catch on the left hand Hotas so you know when you are in the Stop-to-Reverse position.7. Buttons are all well placed and there are plenty of them on both sticks. Not so good:1. Feels a little fragile in an adult man's hands. The HOTAS itself, while it fits the hands great, do seem a little small. I worry a bit that overwork could break it in time.2. Not much weight. No suction cups. Easily moves. There are screw holes in the bottom for clamps? To fix it to a table/frame? I don't fancy drilling holes in my desk though...3. The centreing feels like it will loosen over time. I have to keep a watch on that.4. The handle could use some kind of grip texture. It's totally smooth/slippery. I'm considering adding a bicycle grip covering to the left hand stick rest, maybe on the main stick too.5. Buttons feel inbetween good and possibly tacky.6. Don't like the PlayStation logo, wish it was removable, (I'm a PC man). Maybe I'll paint it over in black.Overall:A surprisingly ergonomic and comfortable stick. It feels really good in the hands despite its smallish size. I could use this for hours easily. I actually enjoy flying around in this in X4. All buttons are easily reachable. It feels a little weak though and I wonder on its longevity. Also, I don't like the PlayStation Logo, as I'm on a PC.4 Stars for now. Will see what it's like in a few months.

Excellent product
Really love the joystick especially when playing squadrons. Really responsive and plenty of already mapped function buttons.

Expensive
Bit overpriced, very solid build, works very well with Elite Dangerous on PS4 but takes some getting used to. Quality wise though the outside hides a lot of cheap and buggy components and poor quality wiring. Potentiometers are the cheapest rubbish I have ever seen, nasty brittle wiring and dabs of glue hold it together. Result is the yaw channel broke after less than 10 hours and needed re-wiring. I have re-wired and rebuilt the entire thing with decent screened cable and proper potentiometers out of an old Saitek Hotas - should not have to do that for a Hotas priced at this level with not even 12 hours use on it. Buy one by all means but you will need to mod it extensively, these are the only option for PS4/5 and the internals quality is a known problem many gamers have had trouble with so I was not at all surprised.

Install the windows drivers first.
It is imperative you download the windows drivers before you use the HOTAS 4. The reason being is that you won't have full functionality of both the stick and throttle. After the drivers are installed this is a cracking joystick.Drivers can be downloaded from the THRUSTNASTER website.Happy flying.

Overpriced and under engineered. Avoid for PC games.
Cheap construction, feels cheaper than a genuine Sony product. It creaks when you use it, the feedback spring i dont think is strong enough even when the dial is turned all the way to "stiff". I bought it for DCS world as a newbie to that game, but im not new to flight sims. I had a cheaper thrustmaster stick for FSX and that worked fine. The cable between the trottle and stick units isnt long enough, it wouldnt allow me to put my keyboard between the two! When i set it up usimg its iwn software, it says its working fine but to be honest, the trustmaster software is garbage. Clearly very old but still being used. The throttle has a smooth action, and a 'notch' to keep it at 50% but if you want it set to 45 or 55% you csnt, it falls into the notch or out of thr notch to make small throttle movements very hard. Its also a heavy handunit, so at 80% it falls under its own weight to full on, and likewise at 10% it just falls back to zero. So its a total pain in the backside.Worst of all, the stick had a mind of of its own. Flying straight and lwvel, it will just flip you violently to the right. Its software says it was dead centrea and stabke, but the DCS settings shiw it to be making many, small but rapid movements to the right so you are not just flying but constantly fighting the stick. It was unplayable. I thoight it was me, so stuck with adjustments, deadzones and sensitivity curves but it just got worse so its clearly a mechanical fault with the device, so its been sent back for a refund. This stick is for gamers in PS4 not for PC flightsimmers.
