Baby Sees: A Very First Book

Good to entertain you little one.In the beginning they only see the shapes so black and white was a bit better (and we had one that was only black and white pictures). After that one she enjoyed this book for a while.Only negative is I think it's a bit expensive for what it is. Just a few pages.

I am a bit dubious if books like this really are specially good for babies, because babies have evolved to deal with the real highly complex moving talking world, and all that's exciting and colourful enough from a baby's point of view. Still, this book certainly interests babies and the colours are beautiful too, much nicer than the dull black and white of so many other books.

This is a great high contrast book for a young baby to look at. It holds my baby’s attention for a little while and he seems to like it.

I bought this because my Health Visitor recommended getting something like this for my 12 week old baby. to promote development - she said to look for books with high contrast colours and varying shapes. This book has just that, and my baby seems to like it - so much so that I'm buying another one so I can keep it at her nan's house for when she spends time there.

My 8 week old baby seemed to be mesmerised by this. She's now 14 weeks and still likes to look at it but with only 4 'pages' its an activity that only lasts so long.

Purchased the whole series of these books. My son loves them! Great for standing up whilst baby does tummy time too so they can look at it.

Great for 2 month baby, this book is in our everyday activities . Keeps baby entertained

Brilliant series of books that my 4 month old loves. He gets very exited looking at the brilliant contrasting patterns every time. :D
