good Read.
Itβs a good book donβt get me wrong but In my opinion the other two are better. I love the way ST writes and builds the story. The MMCs start off hard and unforgiving and always turn soft towards the end which I love. I do believe Iβve learnt a few kinks from this book that I had never heard from. And as always, read the content warnings first. Thereβs a lot of DubCon in this book which can be triggering for people who have experienced sexual assault. As well as detailed abuse from the FMCS step father.

good but needs more a storyline
I really enjoyed reading this book, the gripping detail is endless and it sends your imagination wild. However, I feel like more of a storyline was needed, it includes more smut than anything else. When getting to the storyline, you canβt enjoy it as every other page is smut. Which I understand as itβs a dark romance book but having a good storyline is what makes a bookHowever it was a good read and I did enjoy the book. It just took me longer than usual to finish it

LOVE LOVE LOVE!
OK, OK here we go... the ritual was five stars and I completely will continue the streak here. I've said it once I'll say it a million times Shantel Tessier is a GOD!So if you read my review of The Ritual you know all this and just skip to the next paragraph. If not this is the breakdown. The narrative starts with the discovery of an ancient, cryptic ritual or secret society which fathers pass down through generations to the sons who study at the university. If they complete the tasks the last year they get a chosen, a chosen is a woman in the same year who you wonβt marry (as thatβs already arranged) but you get to have some fun with being celibate until senior year. A chosen is his to do what he likes. Literally and I mean anything! The L.O.R.D.S βL.O.R.D. - Leader, Order, Ruler, and Deityβ rule The university and after they graduate.. the world. This series can be read in any order, following each of the L.O.R.D.S through the ritual to become a powerful LORD leading to a life of wealth and Power. In this book we find so much more depth and darkness into the world of the L.O.R.D.S. and we are introduced to many more characters which are the MC's of future books. The subplots in this book are all prominent in the plot for the whole series.Book (2) followsEaston Bradley SinnettβSinβ he uses his power for his own sick pleasure. Like a typical Lord, he never thought about the consequences of his actions. Ellington Jade Astor grew up with him, obsessed over him, craved him but Ryat is her best friends brother. HUGE SPOILER Elligton has had a really shockingly horrific past (please check triggers for SA/ Grooming) I mean it broke me this storyline was very well written. Elli walks in on a masked man who had a mission to complete. you guessed it ... its Sin *squeel*. Sin decides once his work is complete he's going to give Elli every dark deep fantasy she can imagine, but she has no idea who he is. But what happens when he chooses her without the mask?Sin is the anti-hero and I felt that I had mixed feelings about him at many points it was well hello, oaft, anger, disgust, damn, wow, damn, aww then wow! I think his darker than Ryat vibe has been like marmite for fans of the series either loved him more or completely hated him. Me I liked him and the darkness of him really worked for the storyline Elli herself is morally Grey, yes she would class as a victim but damn she was not going to be one. She craved the darkness, she was already morally black before Sin and that is sexually separate to her past.Shantel just looked at how much we loved The Ritual and let out an evil laugh said, lets make it sexier, darker, more mystery, add more depth and plot then lets take the twisty plot line of The Ritual and make this plottwistingly twisty. If you guessed this plot line I am impressed. Shantel Tessier I would love to see the way you structure the plot for books honestly in awe.my only one tiny tiny complaint is that the ending felt a little rushed for me after some fantastic knowledgable build up. I mean we want to see that magic yes! but I wanted more from the end... but lets face it how many times do we read a book and the plot is fab then BAM in the last 100 pages.

The Sinner
*3.75 stars*Poking holes in their *protection* without the FMC knowing?Yup, meet Easton Bradley Sinnett aka Sin.Okay, so I accidentally read the series out of order and read The Sacrifice before I read The Sinner and although the series can be read as standalones I just rated Tyson and Ryat more than Sin π«£ That being said The Sinner is the darkest in the trilogy. The TWs on this book should be taken seriously but if this is your thing then you will love Sin and Elliβs relationship which would definitely be considered toxic. But there is so much fcrazy stuff in this book, I think their relationship is probably the least of it.Pick this book up if you like:* Dark College Romance* Secret Society* You like your MMCs a tad bit on the wrong side of crazy* Stalker* A list of TWs that reads like a shopping list.If you thought The Ritual was dark, make sure to check the TWs for this book as it is definitely darker. It is a rollercoaster of a book and Shantel continues to surprise you with the twists and turns!I vow. You vow. We vow. π«‘

!!!
My other review wasnβt posted because of profanity so Iβll just repost with the profanity. I loved this so much! I finished The Ritual yesterday and started this immediately. I was up until 5 AM trying to finish it before I fell asleep. I love that the stories are interconnected, like Ryat, Blakely, Sarah, Gunnar, Prickett, and Matt(the smallest man who ever lived), are all mentioned in The Sinner because the events are unfolding at the same time. Really well done and Iβll be starting The Sacrifice ASAP, excited to finally learn about Tysonβs story.

He knew what he wanted and always made sure to get it. He didnβt take no for an answer, especially when in came to ElliElliβs story shook me. That girl had it BEYOND rough her whole life. People she thought were there for her, were not. People she put her trust in, betrayed her. She had a very traumatic childhood, and young adult life. It broke my heart all she went through. The first half of this book was strictly smut haha not going to lie. But the second half, had me on the edge of my SEAT. The twists had me so shocked!Sin and Elliβs relationship was beyond trying, but the way it all ended had me so happy.βΌοΈπππͺππ¬π¦ π₯ππ ππ πππ₯ π§π’ πππππ π§ππ π§π₯πππππ₯ πͺππ₯π‘ππ‘ππ¦ ππππ’π₯π π₯πππππ‘πβΌοΈ

dark, erotic, thrilling with suspense and a lot of twists
This was by far the spiciest book I have ever read. It was filled with dark themes but it was really exciting. I was hooked to the story from the beginning. I didn't find a lot of chemistry between the protagonists but that didn't stop me from continuing to read the story. It took me a while to finish it but I enjoyed every second of it
