These hooks are great for fire doors in houses for multiple occupation. My daughter has just moved into a student house with the usual rules of no holes in the walls as well as every door being a fire door. Fire doors are not only about 40 - 45mm thick but also have the closer mechanism so you can't use the normal overdoor racks because they're too long and because the bit that goes over the door is designed for thinner doors, often only about 30mm thick. They don't look as pretty but they do the job and these ones are very good quality.

Purchased others similar products that just did not fit over the door as my doors were too wide BUT this product works perfectly. Purchased a few pairs and I use them at work and home wherever I need extra hanging space. Great for around the house and they are sturdy too, don't bend or twist and will take quite a significant bit of weight I'd imagine.

These are nice hooks which, amazingly, fit over my very wide doors. They are strong and well made. My only reason for dropping a star is that they are a bit short. It would have been handy if they were slightly longer so that I don't have to stretch to hang up my coat! Other than that, I really like them.

I wanted this to hang over a new 55mm. th. front door and for which there did not appear to be any available [only up to 50mm.].So easy to adapt with a little straightening and bending to required door thickness and there we are.Brilliant - and for the price !

Great, strong hooks, I find them to be the exact measurements as advertised. Most important - they perfectly fit 4.5 cm thick door when most of the hooks on market would be for standard thinner doors max. 4 cm thick.

Used them as a replacement for the hooks that came with my Argos over door bathroom organiser. I can now actually shut and lock the door without too much effort and don't need to use cardboard to fill in the gaps up the top. Very slim and much more discreet. Very happy with this purchase so far.

The hooks for hanging storage are often not wide enough. It is worthwhile measuring the width and buying the correct size.My door was 44mm wide. These hooks are exactly as advertised. They fit the door perfectly. They are also tougher than the hooks that came with the product.
