Schmidt Puzzle Pad for Jigzaw Puzzles up to 3000 Pieces

I'm really pleased with this jigsaw roll. It's good quality felt and the creases from being folded in the box are almost gone after 1 week. Ive read that some other rolls are 2 pieces of cloth stuck together, but this is 1 large piece. The jigsaw pieces truly do stick when rolled up. I particularly like that it marks out the perimeter of various size and shaped jigsaw. I've added a sky remote control to the picture of it to give a sense of scale. I'd happily buy this again, though I don't expect to have to as it's machine washable, but I would perhaps get a smaller size. It's bigger than my dining table.

At first I worryied whether it would do the job. Would it roll like it should, would it leave my pieces intact, is it practical. After some weeks of usage, I have to say, it does what it should do.I use it almost every day to put my puzzle aside, I use it to transport the puzzle to my brother if he feels like working a bit on it etc. It literally takes less than 5 minutes to and no effort to 'roll the puzzle' away.Works without a problem on my 3000pc puzzles (Ravensburger ones). Would def recommend everyone with a puzzle heart buying it.

the fabric allows easy piece movement and provides a uniform background colour. The markings are useful when startign to layout the edges. The diameter for rolling is a little narrower than some alternatives but probably unavoidable for puzzles of this size.

I love doing larger 1500 - 3000 piece puzzles, but they take me a while and get in the way being on the dining table for weeks at a time.This puzzle mat is great; it has a smooth surface, and enables me to roll the puzzle up and move it out of the way.You do have to roll it quite carefully, but so far I haven’t had any breakages to the puzzle during the process.Highly recommend!

I used this for a 2000 piece Clementoni puzzle, for which it was a good size. It did the job in terms of being able to move the jigsaw out of the way when the surface was required for other things and the pieces were held in place in storage.However as mentioned by another reviewer, the circumference of the central tube is relatively small at 7cm. The felt surface grips the jigsaw so very well that it doesn't budge one nanometre when you roll it up around this narrow tube. The consequence is that a wave builds up as the surface is rolled in and, eventually, it buckles and breaks. You then have to carefully decouple the two halves of your carefully built jigsaw in order to be able to roll the rest of it up with an overlap in the middle. This may not be a problem for smaller jigsaws, but if you had smaller jigsaws then you wouldn't need this mat.The grippy surface also means that you can't slide pieces around to get them into the correct area if you have misjudged or need to slot in a section that you want to slide in.In an ideal world, one side of a mat would be rough - to hold the pieces steady after they have been rolled up - while the other would be smooth, in order for the pieces to slide out, and allow you to roll it up in the first place.If you had a tube of wider circumference around which to wrap the mat, then perhaps the rolling up problem, at least, wouldn't occur.

Fills our 6ft by 4ft dining table but brilliant to carefully roll up and then roll out again to continue with jigsaw when table not needed to feed guests. Done a 2000 jigsaw and some bits moved when rolled back out but easily joined up again. Love it

Definitely the best role up for puzzles that I've had. Various puzzle sizes marked out on this very good quality non slip white fabic And the plastic tube creates a smooth line so the puzzle stays intact .😁

It does the job well. The only criticism I have is that the material which the mat is made of does'n allow the pieces to slide. They stick to mat. In one way it is good, but when you want to move the puzzle to a frame, is a bit of a pain. Is impossible to just slide it to the frame.

Das Produkt besteht aus einem besonderen Filz. Wenn man grundsätzlich nur Puzzle einer bestimmten Größe spielt, so kann man den Filz problemlos zuschneiden. Ansonsten sind verschiedene Puzzlegrößen auf den Filz aufgedruckt, so dass man nicht nur sofort sieht, wie groß das fertige Puzzle werden wird, sondern die eingezeichneten Linien auch gut zum Positionieren der Puzzle Teile verwenden kann. Da haben die Macher wirklich mitgedacht.Für die meisten von Schmidt Spiele vertriebenen Puzzle sind entsprechende Aufdruck auf dem Filz. Wer Puzzle anderer Hersteller verwendet, kann diese natürlich ignorieren.Die Puzzle Teile selbst liegen nahezu unverrückbar auf dem Filz. Das ist zumindest bei Puzzle Teilen von Schmidt Spielen der Fall. Es kommt natürlich immer auf die Rückseite der Puzzle Teile an.Der Verpackung liegen auch drei Plastikrohre bei. Diese werden ganz einfach ineinander geschraubt und sind dann zusammengesetzt so lang wie der Filz breit ist. Vorsichtig wird der Filz auf diese Rolle aufgerollt. Wohlgemerkt passiert dies mit allen Puzzle Teilen, die man bereits auf den Filz gelegt hat. Und keine Sorge, sie verrutschen nicht. Auch beiliegend sind zwei Klettbänder. Diese dienen der Fixierung. Man kann dann den auf das Rohr aufgerollten Filz sicher in irgendeine Ecke oder einen Schrank stellen. Wenn man wieder puzzeln möchte, rollt man den Filz vorsichtig wieder auf einem Tisch ab. Alle Puzzle Teile werden sich dann noch dort befinden wo sie vorher waren. Die Funktionsweise ist so einfach wie sie genial ist. Und vor allem funktioniert sie. Das ist gleichermaßen erstaunlich wie erfreulich.Egal ob Gelegenheitspuzzler oder Hobbypuzzler, mit diesem Produkt macht man sich das Leben mit seinem Puzzle sehr viel einfacher. Ich kann es deshalb jedem der puzzelt nur wärmstens ans Herz legen. Und übrigens, der Filz lässt sich problemlos in warmen Wasser waschen. Am besten flach ausgebreitet trocknen. Fertig. Nur für den Fall, dass er irgendwann einmal nicht mehr so ansehnlich ist.

E' un ottimo oggetto salvaspazio per chi non trova superfici da riservare per settimane intere ad un puzzle.Con questo tappetino mi metto sul letto a fare il puzzle e poi lo richiudo velocemente e lo ripongo verticalmente dietro la porta, senza che i pezzi si deformino o cadano dal tappetino. Capita che nelle prime fasi di assemblaggio del puzzle alcuni pezzi si spostino leggermente una volta riaperto il tappetino ma in pochi secondi si ripristinano i collegamenti staccati e si ricomincia il puzzle.
