Purpose:I bought this case to fit my Supernote A5X as the dimensions of the Remarkable 2 are similar to the Supernote.Overall:This is a great folio that is inexpensive compared to other options. It feels nice and looks even nicer. Works great for my Supernote A5X and Lamy pen.Considerations when using folio for Supernote A5X:The Remarkable 2 is less than 1 cm wider so there is a slight "gutter" on the left that is visible in my 2nd image. You also have to cut some of the plastic edge off to accommodate for the Supernote power button. The pen elastic fits the LAMY pen and Supernote Standard pen easily.

I just got a Remarkable 2, and didn't want to spend the money on the official cover. For this price I wasn't expecting much, but it actually is a nice cover. The material on the outside has a nice feel and the inside cover is soft to protect the screen. The Remarkable sits in a plastic tray, but the tray is thin and not really noticeable once you put the device in. The corners of the device are covered with the plastic, so it may offer some drop protection. The tray is thin enough that the marker still attaches magnetically to the side of the device. The magnets aren't as strong as having no cover, but it is secure enough to keep the marker attached for moving around my desk or walking to a conference room. If I was going to walk around in public I'd probably use the marker pouch on the back to be safe. I just got the cover, so I can't comment on its durability yet, but if it starts falling apart immediately I will update the review. If you're just looking for a basic cover to keep the device protected, I think this one will work just fine.

It fits perfectly looks

Out of the box today. This product is exactly what I hoped it would be. Although the exterior finish is understandably not as close to leather as I hoped, it does not feel like cheap vinyl as I feared. Somewhere in the middle. The device snaps into the folio similar to a phone case, which also provides more protection against drops or abrasions than does the ReM folio. The pen snaps tightly to the side side, which was a concern for the functionality and security of the pen. When I am working around the office, I feel confident that the pen will stay attached to the side of the tablet. When I stow the tablet in my backpack for commuting, etc, I am confident the pen will be secure in the elastic holder on the back of the portfolio. For me this checks all the boxes.

I opted out from getting a folio from remarkable at the price they wanted. Been waiting for a good replacement. This folio is better than I thought it would be. Remarkable 2 snapped in nice and it sits in there solid. I see a complaint about the stylus not snapping to the edge because of the plastic that holds the unit... I don't use a magnetic remarkable stylus so using the stylus sleeve on the back works great. The components used to make it are very nice and professional looking. You will feel secure knowing it's in there. Very nice product, worth every penny. Thank you.
