Excellent value and service

Overall this is a good lot of tackle, only gripe is the landing net looks a bit flimsy but not tried it out yet, and the float reel looks cheap and tacky, whereas the carp reel is very sturdy. Only one rod rest is a bit puzzling as there is two rods? Having said that I’m looking forward to using it all when the weather warms up !

Some items were broken or didn't work, really disappointing, now using my old gear. I have wasted the best part of £120.oo. Will not buy Matt Hayes fishing gear again.

its good for what it is good for beginners

I used my rod twice.It snapped when I pulled line through to add float and weights didn't even pull hard as the bailer was off .Floats and other accessories are good .but rod very weak

For all those moaning about poor quality... at the end of the day... you're paying just over a ton for a whip and 2 rods and reels. And a bunch basic kit. Yeah, its not the best, but if you've got nothing... its a decent start.

Had this delivered for my sons birthday present as we are going on holiday Monday and its broken, also the box was broken and ripped it came in, completely disappointed and can't seem to contact the company for a new reel to be sent rather than send everything back and my sons fishing holiday be ruined
