My office expired in sept 2016. if i renew do i lose 9 months or does my new office start from date i install new code

The title says "5 Users, 1 year subscription", is this actually 5 users or 5 devices ??

I think it's either! I have used mine on my 3 computers and I've "shared" the other 2 with relatives who live elsewhere in the UK. Thus, I can't see any problem with you using, say, one of them and sharing the other 4. The people with whom you share seem to get all the benefits (e.g. 1TB of OneDrive storage) as the original purchaser.

Can i install on pc, laptop, iphone 6s and ipad air2

You should be fine to use it on your phone - We use it on multiple phones and they don't even show up in the Office portal as devices using up a license. It also lets you use the Office Mobile apps on larger screen tablets/pcs
