Lew's Mach 2 SLP Baitcast Combo

I bought one off here but got impatient with waiting so I went and supported a local bait shop that had them. They are an amazing Ron and feel combo but the one I bought on here came in broken a foot and a half of the rod was broken off. Glad I bought the other when I did, was thinking about keeping it to have a second bait caster so I didn’t have to go through and tune it everytime I switch lures. As a product it is the 5 stars but handling it I could give negative I would that’s completely unacceptable and I returned it for the refund. Learned my lesson I’ll support small fishing businesses when it comes to rods at least l.

I fished this combo hard in early spring this year. I have caught many bass on this rig and it has performed absolutely flawless. It is one of my favorite rigs thusfar. No problem hauling in big bass with this rig, It is definitely up for the job. Great product.

This is one of the best rod and reel combo's I have ever purchsed. This combo is worth the money. Lew's makes great products.

Rod tip snapped the first time I tried it out little frustrating was sent a new one the next day the customer service was amazing. Been using for couple of years now heavily, best rod I've ever had. Mostly fish salt or brackish water so on many occasions I'm reeling in fish that are 2-3 times the weight the rod is rated for amazing.

The media could not be loaded.  Best to go get and purchase yourself. When I received the rod and reel every single eyelet guide on the rod was bent up which I straightened out but the eyelet at the tip is detached from the rod tip itself. Super disappointed the reel is awesome and the balance of the combo is exceptional. I may try to replace the tip myself…

First off I’m new to the bait caster reel but so far it’s been a fairly easy learning on this combo casting is very smooth and and I’m getting great distance I also own a lews spinning reel and I love it also !

I was a little disappointed with the quality of the reel. The reel was very plasticy and not as smooth as I thought it would be based on reviews and videos. The handle on mine was bent causing the drag start to bind with the handle. This could have been due to damage during shipping. After bending the handle back how it should have been, it was pretty nice. My Lew’s tournament MP is much better quality and seems like you can get it for cheaper then the Mach 2. This combo is the sexiest combo I think and still handles nicely. I think I had higher hopes in the quality of material for the reel. I still recommend this product but in all honesty it should be less expensive based on it being plasticy.

First 2 I ordered arrived broke due to shipping, but got my 3rd one and its exactly what I wanted! Works great!

It came with everything expected and the rod is perfect and the reel Is amazing it is the best rod i have used in a while and I fish all the time five out of five recommend it casting it felt like a dream it already caught me a 5 pound bass and i’ve had it for 3 days

He says he caught a lot of fish with it. It's now his favourite out of the the 10 or so that he has. He went fishing for 5 days and says this was the only rod he used. He says it's well made and works well.
