Very good, bought this for my 5 years old daughter, she loved it

Bought for a 5-year-old who has a love of drawing and painting. This is not the first his Roeder book and his love for this publication shows no abating. Excellent.

Intended for kids, but it is nice for grown-ups who want to have a little fun by creating their own Van Gogh versions.

Interesting background to the work of Vincent. My granddaughter (aged 9) enjoyed the Starry Night picture though became frustrated when her work didn't match up to Vincent's!

Gave this book to four, six and eight year old before we went to amsterdam to see the van go

Nuestro hijo está trabajando algunos artistas en el colegio por lo que ahora ha despertado un gran interés por algunos de ellos, como por ejemplo en Vincent Van Gogh que dice que es su pintor favorito.Este libro nos pareció una idea ingeniosa y una excelente manera de presentar a los niños las obras de este artista. A mi hijo le encantó y, aunque a su manera, ha coloreado ya varios de los cuadros y pasa mucho rato concentrando y explicándonos como se llaman algunas obras y qué es lo que él colorea.Es muy divertido y si que es cierto que, a pesar de que no es un libro para niños porque tiene algunos dibujos muy complejos, es bueno ya que les "reta" a intentar encontrar los colores que usó Van Gogh.Como complemento a este libro le regalamos unas temperas sólidas para darle un toque distinto al de los lápices convencionales (ha sido todo un acierto)La única pega, si hay que ponerle alguna, es que hay algunos cuadros muy complicados aunque repito que este libro no va destinado a niños tan pequeños como mi hijo.Por último, solo destacar (o avisar) que está TODO en inglés.En resumen, ha sido todo un acierto.

Comprato con qualche titubanza non potendolo vedere all'interno, e stata invece una piacevole sorpresa. Un buon prodotto, utile per avvicinare i bambini alla conoscenza dei grandi maestri del colore.

This coloring book is a nifty idea! It's a great way to introduce kids to the works of Vincent Van Gogh. My daughters love it. And, I have to confess, I love it, too. I have spent a half hour or so beside my 10-yr-old coloring right along with her. It's fun and challenging to try to find the exact colors that Van Gogh used. Best coloring is with colored pencils rather than crayons. Colored pencils make each page worthy of framing once colored.

My granddaughter loves this book. It helps her to remember & appreciate Van Gogh's paintings. She saw the Van Gogh paintings at the Chicago Art Institute & many of those paintings are included in the coloring book.
