Robust shears, does the job well, can't complain

in the past I would never buy anything other than Victoria Knox kitchen tools but they seem to have gone down the pan nowadays They say they are incredibly sharp It should last for many 10s of years It was so sharp so simple to use

Genuinely surprised how good these are. I regularly spatchcock chicken and thought I'd give them a run for their money on a 2kg bird. I would conservatively estimate they let me get the job done in half the time that it takes with my Fiskars kitchen scissors. The plan is to use these on a Turkey for Christmas, and I think they'll make short work of it. The small blade is serrated, which is both a pro and a con. It can't be sharpened. So I don't see these being a buy-it-for-life product like my Fiskars, but they will handle heavier duty jobs. For the price, I feel they're entirely worth while.

I purchased these amazing shears in August 25 to cut up raw meat like a dream! Over time the shears became difficult to use as the spring action failed and the screw and insides went rusty so only lasted me 9 months. Also, a lot of the paint has rubbed away on the handles. Do I want another pair...YES! Nothing will cut like these can and especially useful for arthritic hands on tough raw meat!

Why have I never had one of these before? It cuts through a chicken backbone with such ease. Even with arthritis in my hands I found it worked well.

Really strong shears, cuts through bones quickly and easily without any tearing or dragging. Blades come apart easily for cleaning. Great product

Used several times now to spatchcock chickens. No problem cutting the bones and trimming wing tips off. Easy to clean to, but sharp! Watch your fingers!

i bought these because my hands have started to shake so i needed an alternative to using a knife. this is an excellent alternative. they are easy to use. they are comfortable in your hand. they are easy to clean. it's easy to take them apart if necessary, to clean them and then put them back together. they are definitely rust resistant, just don't put them away wet. i keep mine in a drawer, they dry in no time so putting them away wet is not a problem (i don't have a dishwasher so they are handwashed) there's a hook on the bottom of one handle that keeps the shears closed so there's no worry about accidentally cutting yourself when picking them up. not only are they pretty, a side benefit, they work great. they cut through the skin, flesh, and bones of a chicken or any other poultry. i have also used them on lamb and pork. i've used them on some vegetables depending on how i wanted them cut. they're a great tool, a good companion to your favorite kitchen knives.

Brilliant shears. It cuts through thick chicken bones with absolute ease. I've been looking for something that actually works for this purpose for a lot of years and these do the job perfectly. Worth every dollar and I STRONGLY recommend these!
