If you are thinking of buying this, do!I stayed in a holiday cottage that had one, so got to trial it for a week. As soon as I got back, I bought one for myself and the larger version one for my mum (she LOVED it).It looks nice and blends into kitchen surroundings with the choice of colours (although quite tall)It is very stable and sturdy. There is happily enough space for 2 people's worth of washing up.Very well designed to be a very practical aid in the kitchen.I am using it in a hard water area, so I guess it will need cleaning thoroughly every week to prevent limescale buildup. - This can be a bit fussy with the drip tray, but it's not too much of a problem.The drip tray function is really convenient. It is fully flexible, so suitable for any kitchen set up.

Nice modern looking & sturdy

Who knew you could get so excited about a dish drainer? Well this is our 2nd one in around 8 years and the other, cheaper versions I bought most recently were returned as they just weren't up to my husband's standards. We have quite large Denby plates, which fit nicely despite it being a compact drainer. It's easy to clean and excess water drains away nicely. We only replaced our previous version as it had started to rust slightly and was a bit faded.Next time I'll just purchase again and not bother trying to save money!

I thought long and hard about buying this item, I wondered what the real difference or benefits between my normal plastic dish rack and this stilt-house style dish rack but when I took the thing out of the box, put it in my kitchen and put it to work I really did love it.Firstly it looks great, really adds a bit of style to the kitchen, but the rack is also very practical and sturdy and the raised legs and drip tray are just genius. So much water goes on your work top and scum builds up under a normal dish-rack and this prevents this from happening.There is also a cutlery compartment which slots onto the rack in the corner and is removable, a nice touch, and the rack itself is 360 degrees so can be moved around to suit where your sink is or where it looks best.It is called 'compact' and this would be quite correct, some reviews complain that it does not hold enough items but I have piled this thing high with plates, bowls pots pans and it holds the lot, it does not look neat but the washing up never did and I do not have OCD so this is fine by me. I do live in a two bed flat, just the two of us and the rack holds just the right amount even on the busiest of dirty dish days, but maybe this is made for just two people rather than a 5 person family.I have given it 4 rather than 5 stars purely because large round dishes often sit at a tilt rather than straight up (as noted by other reviewers) this may be a problem for some but used correctly stacking dishes from the back to front it does work for me and because all the other features are so good and it looks great I am very happy with this dish rack.

Bought this product 12 years ago and was so happy I went for the same one. The only thing wrong with the old one was it had got a rust spot. Great item and worth the money

This is the second one I’ve bought. The build quality is great, the drain hole hasn’t ever blocked. The directional drain outlet is a winning feature. I personally love the modern scandi aesthetic (especially the white version). The body sits higher than other draining trays, but I prefer this as the handles make it easier to move for cleaning.

Having brought our first of these drainers some 8 years ago now, we needed to replace it due to discolouration of the white plastic. We had no issues with our first one, in fact it was so good, we had no hesitation buying another.HOWEVER since then we have replaced it with, to date, 5 others through returns or warranty. Each time the spout, attached on the underneath of the drainer, has broken in exactly the same place (around the screw) in a matter of a few months, rendering the whole thing useless. Clearly the latest plastic used is not fit for purpose.Such a shame as this is the only one we have found which fits over the large lip of our sink. SimpleHuman must be aware of the problem by now as clearly so many of us have had the same issue and yet they keep selling them and sending them out as replacements.Save yourself the hassle, do not buy!

Da wir keine große Küche und damit eine kleine Spüle haben, ist dieses Abtropfgestell genau richtig für uns. Es passt viel rein und ist vor Blicken des Besuchs geschützt durch den hohen Rand. In einer Wohnküche ideal. Das Wasser läuft direkt in die Spüle. Alles super!Wir haben das erste Modell 2016 gekauft, dass wir nun 2023 mal durch ein neues Gestell austauschen. Wir kaufen wieder das in Weiss. Das alte hatte nach langem und täglichen Gebrauch nun doch etwas Rost angesetzt. Ich muss aber dazu sagen, dass wir Rost und Gehäuse ab und an den Geschirrspüler gestellt haben. So wurde es schön sauber, aber evtl hat das Reinigungsmittel das Metall angegriffen. Aber dennoch eine lange Lebensdauer, finde ich.

This is the best dish rack! It’s great that it’s elevated off the counter. The plate holders look small and narrow but they hold the plates very well. The only issue is that there are only 2 spots to hang drinking glasses.

Excelente calidad. Tengo otro igual desde hace siete años y el acero inoxidable como nuevo.
