Black Belt Kakuro: 150 Puzzles (Martial Arts Puzzles Series)

Tough puzzles. Kept me occupied for hours.Very good!!

i have done them all through the years and the progression is perfect.

I have done a lot soduku then 12 digits soduku and 16 digits soduku. They are not difficult, just time consuming. Then I started to play kakuro and found it really fun. On our holiday my husband got me this German puzzle book with a lot of difficult kakuro in it which I thoroughly enjoyed. Back to england I was looking and this book jumped out. These kakuroes are quite challenging for me. Great fun. If you have never played kakura, this should not be your first kakuro book though.

I am a big Kakuro and Killer Sudoku fan. These puzzles are brilliant, if you are fed up with easy newspaper ones! Not for the beginner or 5 minute coffee breaker! . In the book, there is a list of unique number combinations, which is very helpful, but you soon get to know these if you puzzle regularly. I would recommend the list in the back of the Times Killer Sudoku puzzles, which gives all possible combinations for total and number of digits.Caroline from Ballycastle.

An excellent book of a high standard and very handy size. my one criticism would be that if each page was perforated it could easily be torn out when finished.

The Belt series sudoku, kakuro, and kenken are the best series of puzzle books. The books are actually true to their prescribed level, unlike the ones that claim to be difficult but are half full of easy puzzles. The paper is nice and white too. These are not like those crappy newsprint puzzle books you can find anywhere.

As good as the Brown Belt but slightly harder in that you may have to leave some puzzles and come back to them. Very good puzzles though and all solvable. Thoroughly enjoyed it. This and the Brown Belt are the best Kakuro books I've bought....and I've bought most of them over the years.

I bought it for her in-doors because she likes doing the puzzles. Plus it keeps her quiet and out of my hair. Peace at last.... thanks Conceptis... I can read my comics now.. I bought 7 of these books so having to give my view for each is a bit stupid.. should be able to lump them altogether.

Fantástico para fans del Kakuro. En un país donde es prácticamente imposible encontrarlas se agradecen publicaciones así. Difícil pero no imposible. Crean adición.

Challenging without being so hard that you get frustratingly bogged down. Adequate size and margin for notations, paper quality good enough to handle those inevitable erasures.

Nichts gegen die Rätsel des Brown Belt Buchs dieser Serie. Die sind auch eindeutig --- was leider bei vielen Anbietern überhaupt nicht selbstverständlich ist --- nur sind sie leider sehr einfach. Das hat auch seinen Reiz, wenn man z. B. bei einer Zugfahrt von Fremdgeräuschen abgelenkt wird, aber richtig nachdenken muss man da m. E. nicht.Das ist hier anders. Man muss nicht rumprobieren.... sondern kommt mit logischer Überlegung ans Ziel.Mir macht das Buch sehr viel Spaß und ich empfehle es gerne weiter.LG Lobelia

Der Anspruch dieser Bücher (egal ob Black Belt 1 oder 2) ist in meinen Augen sehr gut durch super-schwer beschrieben. Somit sind sie sehr fordernd, weswegen man durchaus mehr als 10h in der Lösen der Rätsel investieren kann, oder einen ein Rätsel mehrere Tage beschäftigen kann.Dieses Buch ist auf gar keinen Fall für Einsteiger geeignet, da dies nur zu Frust führen würde.
