Mensa® Kakuro

Good selection, all non trivial but very enjoyable

As title; a lot of bang for your buck. These puzzles are well made, well laid out and gradually increase in difficulty towards the back. They should keep you going for weeks if not months. Best book I've seen in this line, and best value.

I have done Kakuro puzzles before but have just got started on this chunky book. Quite bulky to carry around or pop in a bag for when you might have a few moments to spend puzzling. But there are lots of puzzles. The early puzzles are ok but by no means a push-over for me. It says that they get progressively harder, so we'll have to see at what point they get beyond my abilities. It does at least mean that, whatever your level of expertise at Kakuro, you should be adequately stretched at some point.

Found the puzzles were difficult without being impossible. Now I have finished the book I have bought it again and am enjoying repeating the experience. Best Kakuro book I have come across. wish there was a book 2.

I was recommended this book by a reviewer of another kakuro book on Amazon and it certainly is what it suggests. I agree with the previous reviewer for the most part but I have found that the level does vary enough to provide interest and variety.I don't really want to do impossibly hard puzzles......these are hard enough for me. They're also bigger than the average puzzle and so take more time to complete. I'm nearly half way through the book and still thoroughly enjoying the puzzles, and plenty to go yet.Thoroughly recommended for real fans.
