I found the item to be very high quality. As other reviewers have stated, no instructions came with the product but I found no difficulty in putting it together with basic tools. And, using the pictures of the completed product from item’s Amazon page, I had the item quickly together. The flaps themselves are very heavy rubber and have marks for cutting at various lengths to customize for your truck. The flaps can be cut easily with heavy scissors. Ver good product.

As others have said, no instructions, comes partially assembled. Few of the nuts and bolts laying in the bottom of the box, but luckily all there. As you can see from the picture 800 or so miles into a 1200 mile trip across I-80, I lost a portion of the roadside flap.After comparing with a friend's actual Rock Tamers, these just aren't as strong and they don't come with the any type of weight to hold them down. If your only planning on surface streets and dirt roads, they'll probably hold up for you. But be cautious at highway speeds.

I bought these to protect a boat I was transporting for 1400 miles. I put them together prior to pickup and also installed a set of anti sail brackets for the flaps on Amazon.I had to heat and bend the anti sail brackets to shorten them slightly. I can’t say anything negative, the boat arrived without chips or dings. They were easy to assemble and cheaper than the name brand. If you add the anti sail brackets it may add longevity to the flaps.

The ease of put it together. For the people who say they need directions, I didn't find it difficult. although a parts list would have helped, for the small cap I was missing. (The company did make it right) I am going to get some stainless steel plates like the other brand has, to help with the flapping around.

I would never ever advise anyone to order this product or any product by this vendor. I did not realize until I had to return from our first trip the item that it was non returnable product.The mudflaps came apart on our first trip just days after installation. The rubber flaps in the wind like a flag. Poor material to use for mudflaps.

AFTER TWO DAYS OF USING THESE THEY RIPPED IN HALF, NOT VERY HAPPY ABOUT THAT BUT OTHER THAN THE CHEAP FLAPS, THE REST OF THE SET UP IS DECENT

You've got to be a little mechanically inclined, because no instruction came in the box. But very good quality and they do the job.

We cut the sections out for the airflow for mufflers and headed out on our vacation to canada with our boat behind and about 1hr on our ride one of the flaps ripped and was dragging, there was no way to repair it and had to travel the rest of the way with one flap... very disappointing..
