With 3 adults and 4 children in our home, there can NEVER be enough blankets. I've recently bought more of these sherpa-lined blankets because we find them indispensably warm in the colder months. These products have proven themselves for durability, softness, comfort, and beauty. Many washings do not seem to fade the colors or patterns, and these blankets do not lose their shapes with many washings. The sherpa sides do sometimes get a few "pills" over time, but this effect is much less than other sherpa blankets we've had ... and the sherpa sides continue to be soft even around the face area (never scratchy).I did mark only 4 stars for "light-weight" ... there is some weight to each blanket, but I actually find thatto be an asset. But the blankets cannot be considered "weighted" by any stretch, even for the young tots and the old grandma!

I saw this blanket online a while ago and was very excited, but also somewhat concerned about the steps it would take to get my Sherpa certification (for anyone who has looked into this, it’s extensive training, and a lot of travel)After years of training and 3 marriages ruined by negativity, “it’s just called Sherpa, you are an idiot”….”I can’t believe you’re wasting your money like this”…. “You missed the birth of your daughter for a god damn idiotic misunderstanding”…, I finally got my Sherpa certification and the first thing I did was order this blanket. Long story medium, my ex wives may have been right because there was no verification process of my Sherpa status.5 stars for very soft and warm…If anyone needs a guide to climbing the twin peaks, you know where to find me.

This blanket is soft and very warm and a great value

Blanket is super soft and plush. I bought it for my husband and it is too small for him. He still uses it and loves the plushness so we kept it. Would be great for a kid or a teen.
