This is no reflection on the store selling this item, it was well packaged and delivered very quickly.Ok so no instructions but not hard to work out where everything goes, that’s the good news. Some joints are very hard to fit together, that is a also good point because it helps to slow down the leaks. All threaded joints leaked so I wrapped ptfe tape round the threads however all still leaked but not from the threads but from the back of the screws fittings. On first use at just enough water pressure so the brush spun, the spinning brush shot off followed by the full head a couple of seconds later, could not get it to stay on with just the screw fitting. The only way I could stop the joints leaking and keep the head from flying off was, ptfe tape round the threads, followed by self amalgamating tape over the joints with a layer of gorilla tape over that. Once I did that to all the joints that failed one after the other the brush worked fine apart from the control lever doing nothing, water kept flowing wherever it was positioned. The most positive thing is that shampoo in the reservoir lasted until my car was fully washed, and its a large SUV, so happy with that.

Just put this together and tested it and it does not leak, so first test passed. The soap dispenser seems to work too, I tried it on the rinse setting, no bubbles, soap setting started to foam, then rinse again. There are no instructions how to assemble it so you need to refer to the picture on Amazon then it is easy to assemble. The inner part of the brush rotates when water flows which I did not realise, so an added bonus. It comes with a spare inner brush which seems to have slightly stiffer bristles. I bought this after trying the Hozelock medium car brush which I had to return due to leakage, so this one is far better. UPDATE after only using twice the o ring on the soap dispenser has distorted and when on the soap setting sprays water all over me. Still works on rinse setting.

This product has been a big let down. When I put it together, no instructions were sent with the product, I tried to use it with my hozelock hose. Water poured everywhere as the male and female parts were not compatible. I rang Clifford James who said a hose connection should have been included and would send one out. This never arrived. I also asked how to use the spare brush, as the screw holding the original brush in place wouldn't unscrew, again unsuccessful. They sent a replacement with exactly the same result. A complete waste of time and a technical department that take the easy option of sending out replacements rather than solve the original problem that I have subsequently found was not possible because there is NO female hose attachment as part of the purchase. This means if you purchase this product you will get soaking wet unless you can find a female attachment that is appropriate.

Absolutely not. There are no fitting instructions. The brush does not fit securely to the handle, the connection between the soap bottle and the handle sprays water all over the operator when in use, and even when bypassed it still leaks, and the soap liquid was not distributed to the brush head over the period of use, in fact it was sucked out by the water within a few minutes. I was soaked from the waste down and very angry. I am returning the goods as not fit for purpose.The product would have been a good idea had it been better designed and worked properly. Back to the sponge and bucket for me.

Read the reviews and although it got mixed reviews , I decided to take a chance on it and I’ve got to be honest I have no complaints. Although there were no instructions to assemble, you would need to be a moron not to be able to. And I say this as an idiot myself. Yes you do need plumbers tape to make it water tight and if it doesn’t work the first time ,give it more tape. Simplies.

The product arrived in a box, which I gave to my husband for assembly, which he did in no more than ten minutes, then he took it to our car to try out, guess what, it worked perfectly! I would like to emphasize though, that each joint needs to have a small amount of Vaseline to make it easier to tighten up, to ensure no leakages. The soap dispenser might need to be practiced with to avoid over usage , its all about individual preferences. A great product I would gladly recommend. Great value for little cost!

We came across brushes like this one in Iceland. Every single garage has one as the roads are so dirty. People fill up their cars and then wash the dirt off as a matter of course. I managed to find this one online. Having bought it, our cars are now much cleaner and it has taken all the hard work out of washing the car.

Have not used this yet, but have used a friends which was already built. No instructions and it took a while to sort out where the bits go. Not sure what the second brush is for. Could be for wheels.Item is well made. Delivery was a let down as the brush was left under my front garden hedge and could have been easily stolen. Could have been left with my neighbour!
