I work outside rain or shine. When you have no hair, winter can really chill your head. This hat is water repellent, doesn't obstruct your vision, keeps your ears warm and is comfortable. There is adjustment on the back that draws it in around your ears. The fur lining is nice, and the quality seems great. My wife calls it my Elmer Fudd hat, so there's that.

It's big enough for my giant head, but the back strap and drawstring let it fit my teenager. Warm, soft not itchy, water repellant, covers the ears well in wind. It's the perfect winter hat.

From clearing snow, ice fishing, driving, even running out to get the mail, this is the cap that goes on my head. The furry lining is soft and warm. I recently ordered one of these hats to try out for cool/cold weather walks. I specifically wanted something with a bill to provide some sun relief. This hat is working out pretty well. The faux fur lining makes it nice and comfy and the bill keeps the sun out of your eyes. The ear flaps can be worn down for extra warmth or flipped up and out of the way. The hat is one size, but has two adjustment options to improve fit - one is a strap to tighten the fit around your head and the other is a bungee to "snug up" the ear flaps. I liked it enough that I ordered a second for my husband. The only reason for 4 instead of 5 stars is that even with the bungee adjustment, the ear flaps do flare out a tiny bit allowing some air flow around your ears. Now that we're in the heart of winter, I'll be wearing this over a balaclava for warmth and sun protection.

Got it for rucking in the local nature preserves in New England, the bright red color hopefully will let the local hunters realize I'm not a deer. Warmest hat I have, the fake fur seems to work pretty well. If I ever replace it, I think I will look for a Russian army surplus hat of the same style, but in the mean time, and for the money, this hat has been pretty great.

The thing about Amazon is that, no, one size does not fit all. I have a big head. It's why I really never wear headwear to begin with but I was going to a few parades over the holidays and I thought this might not only keep me warm but also be country-stylish. Well, it was ok. Yes, it is a comfy cozy hat that kept me warm but it was just too tight for me. Although I did look great in it, I gave it to my father-in-law, who has a normal sized coconut, loves it.

Quality hat feels like I’m not wearing anything. Keeps you warm and toasty.

This has become my favorite hat. It's very comfortable to wear, very warm and the fit is spot on. I like it so much that I am buying another one. For the price it can't be beat.
