What's the thinnest plasterboard or ply board that will work with this to block music and door slamming from neighbours terrace

Wait until your next door is out, drill a hole through to next door, purchase 300 cans of expanding foam and continue to fill the room. Have a friend watch the front door until it starts to come through the letter box. This is then usually enough to stop them from using doors or music devices. Or .. one layer of acoustic plasterboard. :)

Does the green glue hold it in place or do you still need screws?

You will still need to screw the plasterboard back into place using plasterboard screws. The Green Glue will hold it in place while you affix the screws.

what size is the tube. will it fit a standard size tube applicator
