I was looking for a magnifier for oil and watercolor painting. This one is perfect. So lightweight and provides a clear magnified image because it is REAL Glass...not Acrylic. The light is essential for my needs and very easy to turn on and off; just push in the button for “ON” push again for “OFF”.

This magnifying glass is perfect for EVERTHING! The light helps so much! I have not used it for reading books at night, but it would work well for that. I have used it many times to read ingredients that are printed very tiny and barely there. I've use it for removing splinters. I can see where it would be great for hobbies. This magnifier has many uses for all households. I am thinking about getting another one because this one is being used so often. It is one of the best purchases (most used) I've made in years.

A quality product, I think. Quality glass and quality construction. Very handy for dealing with my challenged vision. I do recommend to anyone who needs occasional visual support. The light is very bright and the shape of the tool is perfect.One suggestion to designer of this product: Make a holster available for it, one that keeps the glass clear and always at the ready for us older frequent user crowd! I love this light and find myself chasing after it all the time!

I really struggled to find the right magnifier for my use. I tried several in stores, but they just weren't quite right. However, I did find the right lens strength for me, but most had a "sweet spot" with a very narrow width. After much shopping on Amazon, I decided to try this one. The first use was on a floor plan for a house, where the window specs were so tiny, I couldn't read them. This glass did the job...very clear and wide enough. I also discovered how great it was to have the light, which I thought might be unnecessary. The spot lens in the handle is not as useful, but a few times, it came in handy, rather than finding my loupe. I am very pleased with this product.

THe switch for the LEDs is already finicky, I have to play with it to go on or off. Good magnification. The smaller magnifier reverses the view (top shows as the bottom), so not really so helpful

I have very poor eyesight for reading and this is the best magnifier I have found. It brings things in with a sharp view. I don't have much luck with the 10 power bug's eye in the handle, but that is due to my eyesight not being bad enough to need it, because it doesn't focus for me. I would recommend this to anyone who needs some extra magnification.

I ordered this to use for several things- slivers/bee stings/cuts and jewelry making. The price seemed too good to be true, so I wasn’t sure what it would be like. I was happily surprised! The LEDs are nice and bright! This will be perfect for what I need.

We have been very happy with this magnifying glass, which we use mainly for reading small print. I did notice that the small magnifying section that is built into the handle turns the image upside down. Is it supposed to do that? Since I only use the main magnifier, it's not important to me, but am mentioning it for those who would want to use it. The light does a good job of illuminating whatever you are looking at, and I like the fact that all you have to do to turn it on is press the button and release. Press it again to turn it off. The handle has a good feel, and the size of the actual magnification glass is just shy of 3" - a good size for looking at fine print on labels, maps, etc. Also, the magnifying glass is made of glass, not plastic, like so many magnifiers these days. At $6.99, it's a good buy and much nicer than magnifiers I have had in the past.
