Cheap and does the job
Used it toPolish a concrete and wood table top. It worked perfectly to level the concrete. It’s an outdoor job tho as it’s very very dusty work.

Surpisingly good, although difficult to fit
I read a few reviews that said you couldn't do a whole floor with one of these disks. As it turns out, you can.... but I wouldn't recommend it.After a pair of cowboy muppets left me with a garage floor of C35 concrete that resembled the alps I was left to sort it myself. Literally the only job in an entire conversion I had "professional" help with and the only bit that went wrong. I couldn't find a firm that hired out the large, proper, concrete grinders and vacuums so I set about with one of these, a dust shroud with take-off for the angle grinder, and a cyclone dust extractor type thing fitted before a "Henry" hoover. All I needed to do now was take up to 8mm of concrete off the top of a 27m Sq floor.....Sticking with the point of the review (this disk):Pros: - It grinds very well. I bought two and swapped about 2/3rds of the way through the job although could probably have persisted with the first disk. - Once you get the hang of it, you can grind concrete without actually seeing and swirl marks and get a pretty level finishCons: - A dangerous fault is the shape of the disk: The shape makes its impossible to safely fit to an angle grinder safely. I tried three different makes of angle grinder and every time the threaded nut would not fit within the bowl of the disk and so make it absolutley secure. At one point (only one) the disk detached and went spinning away across the floor. Had it made contact with me I dread to think was mess it may have made.- It takes a little practice to get a nice, flat finish that doesn't show swirl marks. It absolutely is possible, but take your time and have a practice first, if you can. The key for me was to not press down and actually not even allow the full weight of the angle grinder to press on the floor. As for my experience of using these for a whole floor? I'd advise against it:1) The dust is incredible in volume and in how fine it is. I collected over 100kg of dust that is so fine it acts like liquid when you brush it up. I'm quite sure another 100kg+ was blown out of the door when I gave up with the vacuum2) The dust is so fine that even with a cyclone and bucket arrangement fitted before the vacuum, within about 2 mins of starting grinding the dust blocks the poors of the hoover bag and it bursts. Had to give up with the hoover and went to venting the dust with fans. I live rurally so this was an option but in a built up area you'd be in a lot of bother with, well, everyone. The dust is horrendous and a health hazard if inhaled.3) It takes a crazy amount of time. My 27m Sq floor will have taken around 4 days to do in total.4) Wear appropriate safety gear: ear defenders, gloves, goggles and, most important of all, a really good respirator. Paper masks are not what you need for this job. The dust is super fine and will do you a lot of damage if you don't take care.

Grinds FAST
I got this to smooth out a few bumps left behind by the installers on the garage floor. This blade ground off the extra concrete like is was butter. It was a little challenging to keep it flat to not make gouges into the floor. Has a good hefty weight to it and machined well as to avoid any excess vibration. This disc will last forever and I'm sure I'll find some more uses for it.

Very effective for grinding concrete
I had a 6ft by 8in section of irregular concrete created by cutting an opening between my garage and attached addition. I have planned an epoxy floor coating and needed a smooth transition. This worked perfectly in my Metabo 4" angle grinder and left a smooth finish after getting use to how to use and handle it.I bought two different type grinding wheels, thinking I might wear down just one and might need a backup, but actually after grinding that job, I couldn't notice much wear on this one and didn't think the other would be any better.

Great value
I’m in the process of making concrete Terrazzo and this tool makes it much easier. Compared to the price at Home Depot or Lowe’s. This is a great value and it is very good quality.
