The state sent me new plates this year. And they rattled! I was worried they would scratch the car.Enter silicone! Something I love for its ability to take heat or protect your counter. But now I’ve learned something new. Silicone can prevent rattles! And scratches. On your precious car paint.This thing was not easy to fit onto the license plate. Which turns out to be a good thing. It is tight and that plate, once wrestled into its silicone holder, is stuck in its silicone cradle! Screwed back in place, it securely sits there - holding the license plate with no possibility of rattling or coming loose from its silicone holder.They have them in all colors. I got white because my car is a lovely, creamy white.One last thing. There are holes for rain or moisture to drain. So be sure to place your license plate so that those holes will face down (the only way water will drain).Silicone has so many uses! Highly recommended.

It’s what I hoped this product would be like.The thickness is perfect and since it’s silicon it has plenty of stretch to get it onto the plate.I stretched it and inserted the short ends first and then stretched the long ends until they were all in place.When this is on your license plate it literally fits perfectly and the holes match up perfectly.I would definitely buy it again in a heartbeat there isn’t a single thing I can say bad about this product. Plus the price is excellent!

This is my second purchase of this plate holder. They fit the plates well, don't damage the car, and hold up incredibly well. I bought them in the same color as my cars, so you barely notice them. My first one was white, and after 5 years it still looks like new and didn't harden or change color. Very happy with these!

Size is a perfect fit. Takes a little effort to insert the sharp edges of the plate in the lip of the mount. That’s how it should be, otherwise the lip would become loose and flap. The lip width is just right, looks great. Best characteristic is the mount has full backing, protecting your car. Wish they also provided four screws.

This is a very good but very basic license surround. Good protection on the back side of the license plate and a thin black outside edge. I’ve tried a number of fancier license plate holders but I think this one will outlast them all.

This frame fit VERY snugly with a Texas license plate. PROBLEM: The new vehicle has only two bolts (screws, actually) on the top edge for attaching the license plate. As a result, every time I closed the tailgate, the license plate bottom edge rattles loosely, potentially chipping the paint underneath. SOLUTION: This frame mitigates that problem. The metal edges of the license plate are now cushioned by the silicon material of this surrounding frame. No rattle noise. No paint chipping. Glad I got it.

These frames were easy to install than I initially thought. Just be patient and use a flat tool to get the last sides and edges out, you should be fine. I think these will last well. Minimalist look. Downside, these are expensive. I thought these would come in 2 frames, comparing to the competition but no, nearly $30 CAD for one single frame.
