Great coat, even better customer service
This is a well made coat-warm enough on its own because it has lovely thick fabric. I tried wearing it without kicking the heat on (with standard winter layers underneath - regular thickness hoodie etc.) at 25F and it was almost too warm without the heating elements engaged. A good first sign. There are generous pockets (more than you really need but fun to have), a really warm hood that keeps the heat from the heated collar right where you need it (more on the heaters later), and as an added bonus, a Velcro patch. There are a few companies that make funny / serious patches to slap on so this adds to the fun of the coat. Fun and coat - not a combination you see often. The battery is fairly compact (slightly larger than a normal phone backup battery), has large capacity and a nice readout of percentage left. In an emergency where I don't need power for the jacket, it would be more than enough to charge my phone (it fast charges my Samsung Note) or tablet. When I kicked the heat in during a sub-zero walk, I knew I could retire my bulky puffer jacket. Running the coat on the middle setting drained about 16% over a 25 minute walk so on my crude test, I should get 2 or 3 hours of constant heat from a full battery on a perilously cold day (likely longer for just seriously cold). Having said that, while I ran the coat constantly for this test, it's obvious that normally I would switch the heat on and off since for most sane conditions, constant heating would just be too much. I'd rather be comfortable than feel like a Pop Tart :) This would probably extend the battery life to 2 or 3 times longer. While the coat deserves 5 stars, there aren't enough stars in the sky for the customer service! I did hit a technical glitch with the coat, emailed iHood at the provided address, and I received a very fast response same day on a Sunday! The customer service agent was polite, trusted my word, and resolved the issue to my complete satisfaction quickly and without any fuss.Quick summary - I am a very satisfied customer with an awesome jacket. And in my experience the company will work hard to make things right if there are any hitches.

Great Jacket!!!
Not a huge fan of bulky jackets but this one is great! Modern and sleek yet keeps the functionality. Heated functionality works great, though the power bank it comes with is okay (better ones out there).I’m typically a medium and the size is fine. Highly recommend!

This Jacket Works!
I wore this while working outside in 20-degree weather and it kept me comfortably warm in all 3 zones. The battery lasted 3 hours, with all zones on High temp. The neck warmer is simply marvelous. The size seems true to fit, with my XL allowing me to wear a sweatshirt underneath with no discomfort. The pockets aren't quite as warm as the rest, but I'll be wearing gloves any time I use this coat. My friend is very picky, but he had only good things to say about the one I bought for him. I would recommend this to everyone.

Almost perfect jacket, needs longer battery life.
Pros:Very nice packaging, it comes with a bag with pockets. Jacket is warm and comfy. I was wearing it while driving and it felt like I had heated seats. It has probably 12 pockets. $40 off coupon. Jacket is wind and light rain proof. Sizing is true, I wear large clothing and large jacket fits fine. Detachable hood.Cons:Battery doesn't last long. I had it on high heat with all areas heated and battery died within 3 hours. I'll post an update when I try all the different settings.Battery takes FOREVER to charge. Took about 5 hours to charge battery to full. I might have to buy an extra battery for another $40.😕🤔Overall, I would highly recommend this jacket. Someone at work told me about it, so I bought one and I'm very, very happy with this purchase.I took 1 star off because of the battery not lasting longer.

Not built for the outdoors.
To give you an idea of what this jacket went through, I live in Michigan, right about in the middle if not a bit closer to the upper half of the state where our winters averagearound 10°F frequently hitting and dropping below zero. I work outdoors in a physically demanding job in a wide open space with no protection from the wind. The day after I got this jacket having let the battery charge to full the day before I took this sucker out for it's first run with high hopes. I have worked through two electric jackets before each working fantastic untill they literally fell apart or started loosing heating power so I was excited to replace my old jacket that was getting weak with something brand new.Day one, the jacket I got was one size smaller then what I ordered, it was even labeled the smaller size. This was fine I tend to buy a size larger for comfort anyways so I took it to work, as soon as I got to work wearing the jacket, a thermal shirt and a jacket liner and got to work. Immediately I noticed that through the three layers of insulation I had I could still feel the wind cutting straight to my skin like I was wearing fishnet. Now this wasn't a deal breaker, my other jackets were no good at blocking the wind so I grew on my cat jacket to block the wind. The jacket finally started to produce heat and build up a relatively comfortable temperature, nothing to write home about but I wasn't freezing in the 15 degree weather. Two hours latter when I went on my break I did what I always do and went to unplug my jackets battery to preserve the batter life, only to find out the battery was at 11% charge. Greatly disappointed I resigned myself to having to use a lower setting the nest time and went about my break. When I returned to my work I attempted to turn the jacket back on, plugged the battery back in and held the power buttons as instructed. Nothing happened, the jacket died after two hours of use, I even plugged it into the battery pack for my old jacket and nothing, not even a flicker on the badge. Now one of the biggest war ings on the jacket was to not use the jacket while the inner linning was wet, this is the only reason it could have failed but if a jacket can be shorted out over a small amount of sweat built up inside it shouldn't be allowed to be sold.TLDR:Jacket does not block wind what so ever, came a size two small, battery drained in less then 2 hours and jacket stopped working in the same time frame.
