very pretty but, didn't need it

The umbrella is in small size and it can be easily hold in hand or put in bag, that’s to say it’s easy to take it with me when I’m out. The color is true to picture in advertisement. The flower prints are suitable for seniors. Not attractive to younger adults.

I love Totes umbrellas, but I've gotten tired of all that black. Now, with this blue-and-white paisley and floral design, I finally have an attractive umbrella that I can stash in my travel bag, under my car seat, or in a jacket pocket. When folded, It measures just 8.5" long. When opened, it has a shield of 36" in diameter. Water does indeed roll off. Don't expect golf umbrella coverage with this. It's just enough for one person. The good news is that the pattern will likely keep my husband from insisting that we share a tiny umbrella, where he gets most of the coverage. He will want his own, black version -- and I'll stay dry.The umbrella opens with a push of a button, shooting up and outward from the handle, and, when you push that same button, it collapses at the top -- you have to push the shaft back toward the handle. Although it comes with a matching cover, I find it too difficult to get it on and off and instead stashed the cover in the closet.This won't protect you in high winds or driving rain, but I've never encountered a compact umbrella that would. For the size and convenience, this Totes umbrella works well.-- Debbie Lee Wesselmann

Purchased a "Totes" because of the name. HA poor quality. I bought it for vacation. First time I opened it 3 of the tines were not connected to the fabric. I spent more time trying to reconnect that I was mostly soaked before I could use it to shield me from the rain. Every single time I open it I have to reconnect those tines. Just buy something from their competitors. Save yourself the frustration.

Great umbrella to slip into your large handbag, backpack- so incredibly light and small. That said, it still opens up to decent size to cover one person. Will it hold up in strong wind or lashing rain, probably not. However, it’s great if you are suddenly caught in a shower. The open and close mechanism works great, but I splash a bit of wd40 on the stem as it was a little stiff. Love the color and design, great for spring!

This is a nice umbrella. Easy to open and close and I love the paisley print. Good quality. However it’s a smaller umbrella, definitely for one person. And I wouldn’t call it heavy duty. Probably wouldn’t be great in high winds. Fine for running too and from the car etc.

We do alot of camping in the summer and umbrellas are a necessity. This totes umbrella is lightweight and very easy to use. It has a velcro closure strap and a button to extend the umbrella. You have to pull the umbrella closed yourself until it connects. Really a very pretty umbrella and functional.

Unfortunately this umbrella would not open. After several people tried it was deemed useless. Very disappointing since it was nice looking
