ORETECH for iPhone X Case, Built-in Kickstand Phone Holder, Black

Received my order today, only ordered yesterday so came very quickly. I’ve struggled with finding right phone case, so far it’s the best purchase I’ve made. Very light, extremely secure, fits perfectly, very nice feel. I also love that it also comes with 2 screen protectors. Very happy with my purchase

I normally don’t review orders, but I actually went back on my orders list to make an effort for this cover. There have been two instances recently where I fully expected a smashed phone but it has come out without a scratch on it. First instance was the phone dropped out of my pocket when I was getting out of a car. I didn’t realise at the time and the phone was sitting in the street for about ten minutes with passing traffic. When I finally found it, the screen protector had cracked but after I peeled it off the phone itself was perfect. The second instance was when I was eating dinner with my children on a terrace, and I dropjj on ed my phone while trying to help one of my kids. The phone dropped about 10 to 12 feet straight down on to concrete. This time not even the screen protector cracked. I was convinced there would be some damage, but absolutely nothing! Even the cover itself hasn’t scuffed noticeably yet. I will 100% be looking for the same grand again when I change phones. On top of the damage resistance, the cover is easy to pop off for cleaning, it isn’t too bulky and the little kick stand at the back is very handy and sturdily built.

Regarding the case : An excellent sturdy case with good corner protection that provides confidence should it ever be dropped - one negative point was the kickstand which opens up fine however in order to collapse it flat is very difficult but hopefully over time it will gradually move more freely The screen protectors are the wrong type for an iPhone13 they do not have the needed “cut out” for the front facing camera meaning the top edge crosses the camera lens position resulting in selfies become blurred I have had to order the correct screen protectors from another supplier

I was really impressed with this case to begin with. It seemed to be a really good fit for my iPhone 11, however I do find that in between the front case and the actual screen can get very dusty and dirty. Sometimes the screen is not as responsive as without the case, and if not using an actual Apple lightening cable, the charger doesn't fit in properly. My biggest issue though, is that after just a few months it has cracked on one of the edges (see pics), which I would not have expected with a case that is supposed to be pretty tough and durable. It has been dropped accidently a couple of times but nothing that would have made me think that it would crack the case. I would recommend as a short-term case, but I don't think I could recommend for any length of time.

This case is low quality. It comes in two parts, a rubber part and a hard plastic part. This means that taking it on and off is tricky. The hard plastic is very cheap and brittle. The stand is made of the same low quality plastic and has a very cheap and bad design resulting in it breaking after a couple of uses. The whole case broke after a few weeks. Do not buy.

Works great. I can't remember exactly when I purchased this product for my IPhone but it should be well over two years now. And the case is STILL going strong. As for the tempered glass, it finally got a crack when my phone fell from my bed and hit the metal lamp base HARD. I haven't replaced it with the second screen yet simply because the crack doesn't look all that bad. I guess. 😃 It's a great product though I must note that the stand is a bit wobbly and it folds whenever I attempt to use it. This is the only drawback. But I would definitely recommend.
