A good bed for the price! Not particularly difficult to build once you have done your prep work! The instructions are not the best on the planet but going over them carefully they do begin to make some sense. My husband and myself set aside a weekend to construct the bed. This does need two persons to do. We took the items out of the wrapping and set them out in order, and did the same with the hardware, following the lettering and numbers. With time and patience we were rewarded with a good sturdy bed. I was extremely surprised at the amount of storage underneath and this was only a 4ft bed! It can be difficult working in a small space and the only real issue we had was putting the bed frame on the gas pistons, other than that we did not encounter any particular problems. Once the slats were put together using the plastic caps, we had to use a hammer to lightly push them into place on the frame. A days work but well worth it! We're very pleased with our purchase and would recommend this bed.

The ottoman does not have a bottom cover. This means that items stored will be exposed to dust. This is not captured on the product display photos which is kind of deceiving.

Not all the bed was there and the slats to the bed had mold and damp on at least half of them not a happy parent, now my boy is sleeping on a mattress on the floor ...
