I am happy buying this back support as the fabric is nice to the touch. The extra straps to hug your core are a nice addition as they add a lot more support. I only tested wearing it at home, so I hope the extra thickness of the extra straps doesn't add to the heat too much. I couldn't feel the add on internal support, which is a good thing. Overall it feels well made/quality & it offers very noticeable support. I'm planning to only use it at work when there is heavy lifting, or if I get a bad back again, as it recommends online not to wear it too much, as it could weaken muscles in that area. The feeling while wearing it is plenty to help you keep that area of your back straight. It also helps as it gets a bit wider around the back. It fits ok underneath other clothing, so people will barely notice. It is more expensive than most others, but I'd rather have quality over quantity any day. I owned another back support a few years ago, which I lost, which was a more simple single layer wrap around support. This one is way better, mainly as those extra straps give a satisfying feeling of more support.

Good support and quality!

I particularly like that the belt is not too wide at the front, although quite deep at the back. The extra, adjustable side bands really do add support, as does the lumbar insert. It is pretty comfortable too - easy enough to sit down with it on. Does what it says on the tin, and the recommendation from my Physio seems fully justified so far! I'd seen some reviewers complaining that it didn't fit them: I'm around 38" waist and there seems to be plenty more adjustment in hand. I guess if you're 48"+ there may be issues, but most standard belts would struggle with that. If so, look for an X-large one of some variety!

I liked the look of this belt as it's thicker and deeper at the back than one I've previously tried, though it cost a lot more. It's easy to wrap round with a good area of velcro for grip. The power straps are simple to use too, with pull tabs to help stretch both sides for a tighter fit. My lower back feels more stable with it on so I may use it for gardening etc in future to help prevent more muscle spasms!

Comfort is not outstanding, riding still gave me a sore backend.

Comfortable for lowerback

Wearing it as I write - very comfortable and easy to forget you've got it on (assuming you don't go for maximu compression at least, LOL!) Note that the "massage" feature is just a lump of firm foamy material covered in bumps that rest against your back. It does not actively massage you and to be honest I couldn't feel it doing anything whilst moving about, so have taken it off. Also the "power straps" are not "powered", but are two manually adjustable straps a bit like some trousers have that you can adjust the waistlinewhen you're putting on weight, though in this case it's more to tighten the whole thing up than give you more breathing space. They do seem to help if you want a tighter fit, as I found you can still tighten them up even if you've put the main strap on fairly tightly. All the straps are held in place by Velcro (or similar). I was worried that these would not have enough strength to hold the support in place, but so far they have not let me down. So 4 stars and would have been five if not for the marketing spin of using words like "power straps" and "massage" to imply something like an 'active' support system, which this is not.
