It doesn't smell so bad so maybe they reformulated it recently, but I'm not sure. I like it ok but performance is terrible. It definitely missing a lot of depth and deep natural scents of the Fabrege Brut. If you're looking for an alternative formulation check out the UK version made by Unilever. You can get it off of ebay for 10-15 dollars and it formulation is quite different. Sadly I think the original Burt is truly gone and there are only synthetic approximations.
