I put a lot of effort into reading various reviews on different products before considering this purchase as I was new to using a DE razor and wanted something to stop the nicks.The block is well packaged and comes in a little box which is very handy for storage and for travelling. It seems to last for ages and works consistently each time without drying out.My only gripe is that I sometimes get a white powdery residue left on my face after using it, which sometimes appears a few minutes after I have used the block and left the bathroom. so I always have to remember to double check before leaving the house.Positives -- Firmer skin- Less greasy- makes the skin feel softNegatives-white residue left on skin- sometimes takes a while to run under the water to workI would recommend this product.

Just a few days use and Wow results.Another great product from the bearded God's at The B.I.G Company.I read up about the Alum block a lot before considering the purchase but just a week of shaving and using this a few times and I am impressed.I suffer with in-growing hairs on my face spots as a result and since I've been using the Alum Block my skin looks and feels great.Less noticeable blemishes,My skin feels firmer,Ingrowing hairs just seem to have stopped.Less Greasy skin.my skin has never felt softer.Highly recommend !

Excellent product, excellent company. I have used alum blocks before but most come wrapped in plastic film or in a cardboard box. This is a good size and comes in a plastic case making it ideal for travel or outing in your wash bag without it getting grubby.Well recommended. Alum will stop the little bleeds when you have a close shave. It can sting a little at first; however, walking around with little bits of tissue paper stuck on your face and neck is not a great look!

Does as I expected, great price and comes in a travel case.Quite a large block (around 25x40x60mm) but suppose it will last a while.Highly recommemded.

Removed a star as there was a big sticker on the front of the container which was difficult to remove.

I like the astringent quality that this has, very cooling, just don't get any on your lips as it tastes very odd.

Excellent product quickly delivered, and fairly priced. What more can I say about an Alum block? Would I use this company again, yes I would without hesitation.
