Very disappointing, amazing microphone though
I feel like it's important to note that I've previously owned the Logitech G633, HyperX Revolver, HyperX Stinger and currently own theCreative Sound BlasterX H7 Tournament (They could use a shorter name though)I think I'll start with what's great, the microphone. The microphone is honestly just outstanding on this headset, as in it can compare with stand-alone microphones. It's extremely rare to see a microphone this good on a headset, unfortunately, it seems that is where the good things stop. The biggest issue with this headset is the extremely flimsy control box which hardly works. I can't tell if it's just the control box being really poorly wired or what, but this is the biggest let-down on the entire headset. The volume wheel doesn't work, as in it's either at max volume or extremely quiet no matter how much you rotate it. It even ends up causing the audio to be muffled, it's best if you just don't touch it at all. It's audio quality is horrible for this price, especially considering audio-technica are an audio company. The cheaper HyperX Revolver sounds so much better than this.Another massive issue is comfort, the headset just refuses to sit well at all, I had to adjust it every 15 mins or even take it off due to it just heating my ears up so much. It may just be the earpads but it also has horrible sound isolation. They may as well be open-back with how much sound they leak even at low volumes.Honestly, the only reason this even deserves one star is because the microphone is just outstanding, it's a shame the rest of the headsets lets it down so much. I would not recommend buying this at all. I'd look at the Hyperx Revolver or the Sound BlasterX H7 Tournament instead, it just performs so much better than this headset for way less money. At this price point I'd also look into getting a normal headset and pairing it with a modmic.

Good in parts but not for gaming
Lightweight and a very comfortable fit and not to tight.Sound quality is good not amazing.I would not recommend for gaming at all as there seems to be a difference between a listen set of headphones and a gaming set.Even though it's says gaming headset there very different to anything I heard before and don't sound right in certain games like pubg for example.I can't put my finger on why they don't sound right but other headsets sound more clean but less able to tell directional sound. These do it so well that it hinders sound quality. The bass distorts a little if something like grenade goes off.I will continue to use as I know you should wear in the drivers so this could be why.Overall definitely not worth £130 and I will end up sending them back as there not anywhere as good as astro a40trs for gaming.

Not bad,but not for me
Used these with a astro mixamp and ps4, good sound but a little low on the bass, also was told there was static feedback when in chat, did return these due to that but overall they were decent but not to my audio quality taste

Headset arrived and was faulty
Headset arrived and was faulty, unable to sort and the company refunded me partially instead of the whole amount even though they called me and assured me they would refund the whole thing.

Great gaming headset
First of all I would like to say how great these headphones are for gaming. I play a lot of FPS games and that's where I think the headset shines the most. Gun shots and explosions are clear and feel powerful, footsteps are clear and help a lot in CSGO.. It does pretty well when listening to music but it's not amazing, didn't expect it to be so that's fine. Movies and TV sound really really good, usually I prefer to use speakers for watching films but now I'd happily use these instead, especially when watching more action packed films. Build quality seems fine, but could feel quite cheap to some people due to its plastic construction, BUT it does mean that the headset is extremely light and comfortable. I wouldn't be too heavy handed with it but it's not like it's just going to break if it fell of the desk. I had a slight problem with the clamping pressure at first so I swapped out the ear cups for some memory foam ones which only cost around £10 and that made the problem disappear. Overall the headset is very comfortable, I'd go as far as saying its more comfortable than the cloud 2's (my last headset). I managed to bag this headset for only £88 as I got it used from amazons warehouse and I had my prime discount, for £88 they are a steal but I don't think the asking price of £150 is worth it. I'd say at the most pay £130 - £135 for them. Seeing as they were they used I was expecting some scratches but it's looks brand new which is fab.. the only problem I have with it is that i'm sure one of the 3 cables included is a replacement wire. The wire in question is the standard 3.5mm jack for phone or tablet use. The wire itself is fine and works but doesn't look at all like the one shown on the box or look like the one reviewers have shown so I'm slightly annoyed that wasn't put in the description for the item. Even though the wire seems like its a replacement, it works well and even the mic attached to it works really well too so i'm sure its not just a cheap replacement which is cool. Overall this is a really solid gaming headset which you can use for listening to both music and films. I'd definitely recommend it just maybe not for £150. 4 out 5 for this headset ( I would give 4.5 but oh well ) the only reason it is not a five is down to the Amazon warehouse and the slightly high price and not with the headset itself.
