Exo Terra Stainless Steel Scoop

A fine meshed scoop which is perfect for sifting solid waste out of fine sand etc.
I bought this to sift the solid waste out of our Cat Litter tray. The scoops we had were next to useless because the holes were to large and the waste just fell through. This scoop is brilliant, it is metal, easy to clean and makes cleaning the Litter Tray a much easier task. Suitable for sifting solids out of fine powdery materials like sand. Just the Job, as is said locally to me. It means it is excellentin doing what it was purchased for.

Pooper scooper...
Very good scoop, but I bought it as a sand scoop for metal detecting, which I am sure is how it was advertised.I was horrified to see it had a 'poop scoop' label. But hey, a scoop's a scoop. It's very good, digs deep and is robust. The filtering is fine. It reminds me, though, of a chip pan scoop from the 60's. Please buy two separate ones if you're planning to fry chips as well as scoop the poop...

Not strong enough
To be fair, I bought this for lifting clumping cat litter which gets stuck to the box. It worked great at first but the net part came away from the frame so now is useless.

A very handy tool for cleaning out the debris from my parrot cage
Liked it as could sift through the sand with ease reaching all angles and it’s great value for money

Wood pellet cat litter life saver.
This is the best scoop EVER if you have a cat that uses wood pellets, it's actually crazy how hard it was to find something that would scoop and sieve sawdust, most scoops work the 'opposite' way (ie. clumping litter) and the holes are too big. Reptile scoop - who would have thought? Love it, recommended highly.

It scooped the poop
It’s sturdy and does it’s job. It’s an ideal poop shovel

Ideal
We use this for Chickens (which are essentially feathered lizards anyway) after trying lots of different things (straw, shavings, ambiose, etc) we have found that sand, specifically paving sand as it is dry but not dusty, is by far the best and most economical litter material for the coop. This scoop works really well. In a perfect world we could do with a slightly bigger size but it still works very well indeed.

Gravel scoop not sand.
This is not good for sand if your trying to get rid of cricket poo. The mesh is to big all the bits just fall through with the sand. Kind of pointless really
