I’ve had the 40 amp Rover for a while, but as I am now using more power during the day, I needed more amperage donated to the battery. So I upgraded to the 60 amp.It took me less than one hour to install, and I am a novice. Thankfully it was pretty much a straight swap.So far so good

Great Product
Purchased the Renogy 60amp MPPT charge controller to replace a Renogy 40amp charge controller, there was nothing wrong with the 40amp charge controller, i've just added more solar panels and the amperage exceeded what the 40amp could handle. Its bigger than the 40amp charge controller but was easier to mount on the wall due to the addition of extra brackets, unlike the 40amp where you put the screws into the wall then alined the holes on the back of the charger with the screws ( massive pain in the behind ). It automatically detects what kind of batteries it's connected to and also has a backlit screen unlike the 40amp. Can't comment on it's longevity but if it's as robust as the 40amp charge controller i don't forsee any problems.

it’s a great mppt for 12 volt system.
This renogy rover 60A is a great mppt for a 12 volt system, but is a bit problematic used by 24 volt system! Specifically when is used with lithium batteries. It is difficult to change settings (or in my opinion impossible!!

Renogy will do anything to get out of admitting there is a problemI have had this for a little while and now I need to return it Y ?Because it does not work with certain panelsWhen your battery bank is full it shows it as 24 percent or 36 percentdoes not even function in low light charging your battery bankuntil there is very bright sunlight then it goes up to 100 percent but soon drops yet your power bank is totally fullI cannot work it out andI have emailed renogy with stupid replies no resolutionBEWARE IF YOU BUY THIS PRODUCTI WISH I KNEW WHAT WAS GOING ONOH ALSO MY BANK IS PARALLELThanksTroy

Good stuff - missing Bluetooth
I really wish it had a built in Bluetooth or at least came with one in package.Apart from that the controller works well.Good to program and use. I would buy it again.
