DermaTopix Aloe Cort Cream, 2 oz

This came recommended from my dermatologist and I’ve been using it for years. Love it.

My esthetician suggested I buy this cream due to a reaction I created on my skin by being overzealous & blending a retinol and tretinoin.The cream arrived quick and upon application, immediately soothed & cooled the heat and reddness on my face.(Note: do not concoct a treatment without running past your esthetician, aka, the person well-trained and certified in skincare!)

I used this for accutane purging and it’s the only thing that got me through it.

I like the scent and it is very soothing to the skin.

I used to purchase this cream from another company, when they discontinued it I found it on Amazon. It works great if you have excessively peeling skin. I no longer have breakouts around my nose and eyebrows anymore. It is lightweight and has no perfumes.

I first used this product after a chemical peel procedure and was given aloe cort cream to reduce itching, which proved very effective for relief of that symptom. I have more recently been using it due to a scalp condition I have had at my front forehead hairline. I get these small itchy bumps in that area. The condition seems to be worse during the summer. I live in Florida and it has been brutally hot this year. I think possibly the problem is exacerbated by heat and perspiration. I have tried many different things including a prescription from my dermatologist for extra strength cortisone. Aloe cort cream is the only product that has worked. After just one application I see a marked difference and after a couple of days it is gone. It is a recurring problem so I have to continue treating it off and on during the hot weather but at least I am now able to get relief with aloe cort cream.

Just start using this cream on my very sensitive skin and I kind of like it. So just going to order again. Made my face brighter and healthy. Would love to continue using it.P.S I love this product and how my skin feels after applying to my face... Please let me know if it's coming back, would love to order again.

This is the only cream I use on my face, as I have Rosacea and skin sensitivity. It is a rich cream that soothes irritation, and is very nice on sunburns, as well. I sometimes use it for my daughter, who has mild eczema flare-ups in the summer. Tartar control ingredients in toothpaste also cause irritation around my mouth, and this cream keeps it under control. I used to use Clinique's "Exceptionally soothing lotion for upset skin" (or something like that) until they discontinued it. I found this afterwards, and have never looked back. It does not take away redness, but it definitely moisturizes and heals, and the hydrocortisone in it is just enough to calm my sensitive skin.
