Continental Ultra

I bought these tires as I was tired of getting punctures as my regular cycle route takes me through some less than savoury areas. Not the kind that you want to be stuck in whilst repairing a flat. I've had them for more than 2 months now and so far not a single incident compared to at least 1 weekly on regular tires. Grip and feel is good as well even in wet conditions

Great and worth spending a little bit more to avoid getting a puncture when you are on a long bike ride or rough terrain.

Always good tyres, after having numerous punctures with cheaper tyres started using these, never let me down.

I've found these tyres to be good puncture resistant tyres

I bought these tyres for my hybrid bike to replace the 700 x 37 Continental Countryride that were on my bike from new. I wanted to continue with Continental tyres as in 3000+miles of cycling I never had a puncture. I'd heard good things about the gatorskin tyres so opted for these in 700 x 32 as I wasn't sure my rims would take tyres any narrower. The tyres arrived really quickly and were very easy to fit. I've really noticed the reduction in rolling resistance in using these tyres and no problems with the tyres up to now...although I've only done about 150miles so far. Great product from a trusted brand.

I bought 2 of these to replace my original tyres having gained a few more punctures whilst going to and from work.I changed the rear one first as it was more urgent it lasted 1 month before gaining a puncture within 2 months I had to dispose of it and replace it with the 2nd tyre. My original front tyre which was much cheaper is (to date) still going fine and mean while the 2nd tyre has gained 2 more punctures.

The media could not be loaded. Do not buy. Both tires leaked like a sieve. Bought them in the UK only to realise how bad they are when I tried to install them on my bike in the Middle East. Very poor quality

These tires weigh a bit more than regular ones, but I don't mind. I rather use these tires than have to change a flat tire on the middle of my route.

The media could not be loaded. Since writing my original review, I have ridden these 25 miles on crushed gravel, and today I took them 10 miles on ice, see video. These rides required more careful handling but they performed just fine and I had no falls. These tires are great. I am changing from 3 stars to 5.My original review: I bought these to replace the Kenda tires that were original to my bike. I was skeptical of the unconventional tread; they looked too smooth to have reliable traction, but even the critical reviews I read did not mention traction issues, and so many buyers sang the tires' praises so I went ahead and bought them. I mounted these just last week so I can't say how long they'll last, but they are beautiful, very sturdy, well-made tires which I don't doubt are puncture resistant and will stand the test of time. Traction, unfortunately, is another matter. In the few times I've ridden with these I've already noticed tilt in my bike when I ride over anything especially if it has any sort of edge. I hit a small stray bit of gravel while riding on pavement, and rather than staying straight and steady over this little bump as I would have with the Kendas, I had to hold on tight and right my handlebars to prevent a fall. I took the bike up over a minor curb, just about 2" high and whereas the Kendas would have gripped and taken me straight over, with these my tire tilted and again I had to pull to keep straight. I don't imagine I'll have any problem riding with these, and again they do seem to be of exceptional quality otherwise, but I can see I won't have as carefree a ride as I'm used to and will have to be more careful in my riding style.

Did what it was advertised to do without any issues

Wanted a set of tires with puncture resistance and smooth ride and these seem great so far. Grippy, good fit, sunny day performance is good but I have not used much in the rain yet. Will update if they disappoint, but I expect they wont.
