Drum Microphones: 7 Piece set of Drum Mics with 4 FREE Rim Clips and 7 FREE Cables!

Given the reasonable cost I'm really pleased with the build quality and the sound of these mics, so are my other band members and also my teenage son who's a drummer himself! I can see we'll be arguing over whose kit they're attached to!The overhead condenser mics are particularly pleasing. On a multitrack recording you shouldn't expect total isolation of sound from each mic - drums are loud after all!I have a slight problem with the supplied tom clips in that they can't be placed at the usual "top" position due to my rack toms' rim mount system, however the clips are fine for snare and floor tom (and all of my son's kit) and I can use stands for the rack tom mics. I found a metal bar mic mount which neatly doubles up two mics on one stand.It's good to have a matching set of XLR cables with mini velcro-style cable ties to keep things tidy. I've since bought a matching 8th cable to use with an additional mic.

Since buying this set, I have now used them several times. They are a good buy, the mics perform well and sound good. The set comes in a sturdy case which protects the set and the inside is well laid out so that I can see at a glance that all components are there at the end of a gig. The set comes with leads also which is a bonus, it is well priced and a useful addition to any sound kit. My only problem with it is the clamps which are the screw clamp type of attachment they are adequate but I find that the thgreads on the clamps strip if over-tightened, I remedied this by buying some clip on clamps and everything is good!

Fantastic set of drum mics at an affordable price. Easy to fit ant come complete with sturdy clips. Great carry case for transportation and storage. Only criticism would be the length of the connecting cables - found them a little short and had to invest in a couple of longer ones to reach my mixers. Purchased these along with a couple of Behringer 1202 12 input Bus Mixers and a Lexicon Alpha Studio USB Audio Interface which allowed me the full set up to my laptop at a really affordable price.

OMG I cannot believe the value for money of this product.It's all nicely packaged and the little suitcase is a nice touch. The sound quality is brilliant and I can mic up all my drums for a pittance.I had to buy some bit and pieces to fit the mics on but all in all I've spent under £220.You also get seven 3m cables that can be joined together to form longer cables plus four rim clips, unbelievable bargain.

Its true what one other review mentioned that this is just a s good as some of the more expensive sets. It was going to be either this one or the Shure PGD6 set for our start-up studio. Our studio op was very impressed with these. Just afew adjustments on the EQ in the final mix and sound was great. Can't beat this for the price especially with all the other extras. Go for it!

Microphone quality is surprisingly good for being so cheap. Easy to mount on the drum rim. Recommend them as good drum mics. I use them with a Zoom R16 Digital Mixer, Pearl drums with maple shells and oil drumhead - and it sounds great!

I've not use it as yet but a soon as I do I'll write a review how it is. But I was very pleased with the quality service and I'm sure I'll be pleased with the drum microphones when I set them up.

Excellent set of mics with a warm sound and good dynamic range. Easy to setup and position. Results have been excellent. Very pleased.
