As a birthday gift for my 12 year old space/astronomy obsessed grandson, my son and I are building a star field ( about 6’ x 8' )to hang over his bed.This wonderful device will be the heart of it along with the included array of 900 optic fibers in two groups each13 feet long. The fiber light source/ controller is small, compact and light enough to sit on top of the planned star field.-on/off from a wall switchIt’s twenty watts of LED light, dual headed with an integrated twinkle aperture wheel. The two heads can be independent or together controlled by the included remote (he’s gonna LOVE that!)Each can be the same color or each a different color. Fiber Optic Lights
These lights are gorgeous!!! They're obviously very high quality and well made. They're gonna be complicated to set up, but that's my fault.Ihave a complicated design plan for them. But they work flawlessly. They're quite bright and I'm excited to use them. I think they're an excellent value.

Hmmm
The item is very confusing as to how to install in the vehicle. Think of limousines and how they have the sparkly roof. Well, this is supposed to provide that look. The instructions do not come with a breakdown but I googled this and discovered you’ll need to remove the hood and then you run each fiber thru the hole for that look.That’s too much effort. So, I’m thinking now we will use this at our tattoo shop and feed it through the ceiling because that way if it stops working we don’t have to take the entire ceiling of a car apart.So, I wouldn’t say this is easy to install, definitely want a professional to do it.
