Good for grinding bumps in concrete for flooring prep
I bought 3 of these not knowing how long they would last and how much I would need to grind (hidden under carpet that would be removed). The 1st one did a great job. The 2nd one appeared to have less "diamond grit" on the surface and did not seem to cut as well or last as long. The 3rd one was more like the 1st and still seems to have some life left after quite a bit of use. I had to grind up to 1/8 of an inch off of raised areas that amounted to 30 to 40sq ft. The first and last seemed to have plenty of grit left after 10sq ft. The 2nd one was about done after 10. When they are fresh the really cut. Overall good performance.

Good for a small job...Wore out fast.
I had to level an area of concrete basement floor by grinding down about a 30 inch diameter patched area about 1/4" high. I made a jig to hold the grinder level and at the right height, and this grinding wheel made quick work of it. But if I needed to do a whole floor, I would want a more durable one. The diamond layer was almost gone when I finished. Maybe the steel lands would be effective, but it seems worn out.

Worked great on thinset and leveling a concrete step
This creates a significant amount of dust, but you already know that--or should. Plan to use a dust shroud and vacuum, or just know this is going to make a mess. This worked great for removing thinset (I did use a dust collector) and leveling a exterior concrete step (no dust collection, must wear a respirator and face/eye protection). I don't think you can beat this for the price.

Like butter
I bought this product because I had some leveling to do on my bathroom before I tiled. I had completed a similar project on the other bathroom without the use of the wheel or grinder using the by hand scraper method. Needless to say, this is much easier and the wheel goes through the old thinset like butter I also would highly recommend a shroud or you will get the dust all over the house and it is bad for your lungs. The wheel is good quality and seems to be holding up well. Worth the price paid!

Great Cost benefit
I was skeptical about the grinding wheel performance since it was much cheaper than others. It did a tremendous job. My garage is 21’x11’ all covered with a weird paint and it is all clean now. The grinding wheel is still in a good shape for another work. Definitely would buy it again if need.

Removed thinset when other techniques failed
I had remove a lot of tile in the bath. Had to remove thinset and I used scrapers, multi-toll scrapers, heavy sanders and was frustrated. I put this on my angle grinder and it made short work of it. Just beware of dust, one way or another.

Good product
I was a little skeptical about buying this because it was so cheap compared to other diamond cup grinding wheels but I figured I would take a chance and was pleasantly surprised with it. I had a lot of grinding to do on my garage floor and it held up extremely well.
