At the Southern Table with Paula Deen

I'm loving that Paula's newest cookbook. It is packed with beautiful photographs an each recipe has a photo which I find extremely helpful. I am able to follow a recipe but find a visual to compare is so helpful. I especially love the casserole chapter because I am so busy working during the week that it is great to cook a casserole on the weekends to eat through the week. I made the corn fritters and gumbo last night and it was delicious. I was excited to see so many new recipes. Well done Paula and I am looking forward to cooking a big meal and having my family enjoy around our table. The game day meal you have created is going to make my hubby extremely happy.

This cookbook is awesome. I'm an average cook I would say and this book had really easy to execute recipes and I love that they all came with a picture of the food. There's a lot of great recipes I can't wait to try! The layout if very well thought out and I especially love the family gatherings section at the end because it's basically all the menu you could possibly imagine for large family gatherings which I always struggle with coming up with easy and fun recipes to make for such events! That alone the book is worth it's weight in gold to me!!!

A lot of good recipes but I would have liked to know if they were freezable

I saw this book at a Paula Deen restaurant while on vacation but with keeping weight in mind - I ordered on here instead! This made it so I didn’t have to haul it home in my luggage. The price was better than I would have paid at the restaurant (not autographed but I’m ok with that). The recipes are so delicious and the book is all in full color and lots of pictures. Would make a great addition to any cook’s cookbook library. Can’t wait to try more of these recipes!

I think this is Paula’s most beautiful cookbook ever. There is a picture included for Each and all 150 recipes provided. They’re well written and recipes you’ll use daily and often. These are recipes you would expect to find daily on a southern table and more. Definitely a goto for wonderful southern cuisine. So glad I finally ordered it. My only regret is that I didn’t order it sooner. I’ve provided pictures as a preview of what you’re missing. I didn’t include full pages of the recipes in the pictures due to copy right reasons. I hope this helps.

I love this cookbook! This is a cookbook that makes me want to try something new every day! Can't wait to get cooking for friends and family!!
