From delicate to intense colours.
Fabulous intense colour. I had seen a demonstration and wanted to try myself. I do dabble with water colour painting. These crystal powders are so versatile. I tried a few grains and I literally mean a few grains mixed with water, and was amazed how the colour was so strong . Adding more water and a translucent colour with depth still there not loosing the intensity. Adding more water still colour still true. I was amazed at how little product I had used. I practiced with three colours the terracotta, yellow ochre and sandstone. They blending and have dried beautifully. I'm saving the practice sheet as it's too good to scrap. Even where a just dabbed around in no particular way, it's dried lovely. I'm keeping for a future project. These crystals used as a watercolour will last forever. There's lots' more techniques to apply. Sprinkle them. Using the edge if a brush or punch a hole in the lids and sprinkle like salt. Again a small amount is needed. A tip ; if you can see the grains you've laid too many down. Spray water from a spritzer bottle and ' Hey Presto ' a firework display of exploding colour. Absolutely amazing. It's your own choice how much you sprinkle for even more vibrancy. Or spray more water and reduce. Use a paint brush to spread the colour. You can use in so many ways. I'm absolutely delighted. I will definitely buy more colours and a DVD for more techniques is on my shopping list. For the cost of this set it's well worth a try out. You'll be pleasantly surprised how versatile these crystals' are.

Brusho is amazing!
You will love using this. Perfect for mixed media. Less is more so don’t use it up quickly. It loves thick or dense materials and is great on very high gsm paper.

Nice non toxic colours
Don't be tempted to add white spirit to stain wood as is suggested elsewhere on the internet. If you want a longer lasting stain just use a non toxic acrylic varnish afterwards. Minimal change to colour but it doesn't rub off on hands afterward.

This is a really good value starter set.
Well having watched the video thought I would try as they looked like fun and can produce lovely effects. Still learning with my first little set but have to say I love them. I had got bored with painting and boxed up my brushes and paints, but they are out again and these are a great little starter set. You have to experiment /practice as I am still doing but they are very effective. I am sure I will be buying some more but different colours.

instead it looks like any unpopular colour they cannot sell normally
Not impressed with the choice of colours in this pack. I expected a representative range of all colours, instead it looks like any unpopular colour they cannot sell normally. I got three different greens, three warm brown colours and no blue anywhere. Not impressed with this pack.

Absolutely love this product
Absolutely love this product! I have the 24 set, and now the 8 pack as well. Nothing could be finer. The new colours are beautiful, I especially like the Moss Green ( with purple notes in it), and the lime green is lovely! Find out for yourself. I cannot say enough good about this product, and believe me I have tried a LOT of products.

Vibrant, very staining, too messy for kids
Very vibrant! A little goes a looong way. Be careful. This stuff has the potential to be VERY messy! It is loose powder. One tiny, almost invisible grain will explode with color once wet, and it is very staining. Some of the colors are a bit different than one might expect. The rose red is exactly rose red. The burnt Sienna is kind of an earthy dusty rose. Reminds me of very diluted Daniel Smith’s Piemontite watercolor. Terracotta is more of a deep coral. I couldn’t get the olive green to mix, so it stayed bright blue and orange. I’m sure that was user error. The moss green is beautiful! It separated into yellow, brown, dark blue, and green. Lime green separates into aqua blue and orange, but is definitely yellow/green when mixed well. The sandstone is a lovely soft orangey brown. The yellow ochre separates into blue and oranges, but is a nice transparent yellow ochre when thoroughly mixed. Please keep in mind that I sprinkled a very tiny bit of each color onto a wet surface. I wanted to see what it would do. I have no doubt that when mixed with water BEFORE touching the paper, it will give a solid color.I am looking forward to experimenting with this medium. It’s going to be a lot of fun!It does purport to be non-toxic, but my advice is not to allow children to play with it unsupervised. It has great potential to make an uncleanable mess.

Meine absoluten Lieblingsfarben!
