After having this item for almost three months now, I would like to update my review. If you're looking for a low price, but quality transmitter adapter, this one might work for you. But here are the pros and cons of this item:Pros:1) It's relatively inexpensive.($14.72 when I purchased it.)2) It uses the low latency aptX codec, which should be matched with headphones that also use the aptX codec.3) It uses a Digital Optical Cable that you can connect to relatively new HDTVs(mine is a 2012 model), which really enhances the quality of the sound and reduces latency.4) As I mentioned before, the quality of the sound has been enhanced with my bluetooth headphones where it's not as bassy as before and has a more balanced sound with the mid-range and the treble/high tones. Also, the latency issue is so much better with this transmitter. However, with any bluetooth product there will always be some latency, but there's so much less with this transmitter and it's barely noticeable.5) This transmitter will automatically pair and reconnect with your headphones.6) There is no buzzing and crackling from this transmitter like there was with the less expensive transmitter that I had purchased at first, which I returned.7) I like the fact that the on/off pairing button is relatively large and on the top front instead of being tiny and on the side.8) It is sleek and shiny and is a very nice looking product.*EDITED, ADDED ONE MORE PRO*9. The Roku music channels sound really good with this adapter along with a low an aptx codec bluetooth headphone.And, there is actually one con with this unit, but I don't view it as major.Cons:1) It would be nice if the unit was powered by the USB connection instead of a battery and would power off when you turn off your television. However, you have to walk over to the transmitter and press the on/off button to turn the transmitter off or the little blue light will continue to blink.

Bought this because I wanted to connect a non-Bluetooth desktop PC to a Bluetooth speaker and headphones. This does the trick. It's a tiny thing but it works very well. I like that it still functions while it is charging - that was a plus point for me and one of the reasons that I bought this particular adapter. It was fairly easy to set up - the instruction manual is not translated into English perfectly - but you get the drift! I've only used it to transmit from the desktop PC so far but the 3.5mm audio input jack means that it could have many applications. I may hook it up to my turntable amplifier in the future. I've not used this as a receiver so I can't speak to that. It seems to have a good range for my purposes, battery life seems great and for what I paid I'm very pleased with it.UPDATE NOVEMBER 2020:I purchased a second one of these and note that it is an updated model from the one I previously bought. It now has SPDIF in and out ports in additions to the the AUX input. It's been redesigned too so it looks nicer and it is more user friendly. The size is a little bigger but it is still a great little gadget - the range seems a little better actually. The battery life and everything else is a good as ever. You can't beat it for the price.

Purpose of buying this product was to transmit audio from PlayAway MP3 player to my NENRENT S570 Bluetooth Earbud. What I liked about it: Very affordable considering its capabilities. It also came with a USB charging cable and a small booklet of instructions. You can also find a PDF version online by searching for the model number "BTI-020V". The instructions were fairly easy to understand. The small size makes it very portable. It came with a short 3.5mm audio cable that allowed me to connect the MP3 player to the transceiver/adapter. My BT earbud paired very easily to the transceiver and the sound is clear. I was also able to pair my BT earbud and use (play my mp3 player while using my already paired BT earbud) while the transceiver/adapter was charging simultaneously. I have no complaints and I would highly recommend it.

I have this unit set up in a small room so I can watch TV without bothering the wife. Because I am a little hard of hearing I used to have to turn the TV up real loud to understand the dialogues. By plugging this into the digital optical port on the TV there is little to no latency and I found that within a few minutes I did not notice it at all.It automatically paired with the tabletop Tivoli radio I have next to my chair so I can turn the volume down and still hear every thing clearly.

Outstanding quality. Never a problem connecting. Truly low latency. Great battery life.

You can stack these with an audio jack splitter and use them for multiple devises and audio transfer in various ways.I have one running my sound bar surround sound system. Two of them running more blu tooth headsets. And one transmitting audio from my DVD player to my tv to reduce wires going to tv. Best for the money…no issues…works great! I leave mine plugged in all the time so haven’t used the built in batter function yet.

I have only tried this in transmit mode, but it connects so simply and doesn’t lose connection.I will attempt to mess with it a bit more to more completely test it, but right now I’m thrilled with function and price. Have suggested it to others.

This is a great product at a great price.Had some issues using the aux connect but when I used the fiber optics it worked smoothly.I can connect to two headphones and that was my main reason to buy this product.
