Excellent choice
Far superior to the remote that came with my TV. Lots of capability and super responsive. Quick and easy to set up.

Great little gadget thingamebob!
Lost the remote down your couch again! Well I can't help with that! But seriously if you have lost the remote for permanent and need a replacement! Look no further! This was bought for a friend who had a Unknown brand of TV "Techwood" I believe and was in desperate need of a new remote. So the All for One Contour remote was perfect to meet the task of gaining control back of his set..Has multiple ways to get the remote set-up on his TV including just pointing it at the old remote if the buttons have given up you don't need it as a straight swap. Also codes to type in and other simple options which give this remote superior functionality. The proof is in the pudding (so to speak) in that he still uses it today with an "Techwood" unbranded TV and most of the buttons do work!Too conclude if any of this rings true for you then what are you waiting for! Accept no substitute!

Works
I purchased a Logitech harmony to begin with, which was very good hardware wise, and a very nice remote to hold, really good use of materials. However the Logitech functions as activities, meaning that whenever I changed from watching TV to e.g. watching sky, or changing input to my htpc, the TV and receiver switched off and then on again. The physical remote did not have the functionality to just work as a simple universal remote. This one for all works very well as a simple universal remote, although the build is very basic, but very good for the price. Paired fine with all my devices, and keys are programmable. It's infrared only. With my Yamaha receiver, the power key does not work. The instruction book is very detailed. Very good for the price.

Does the job , learning feature works well
I've had similar multi platform remotes in the dim and distant past with limited success. However spotted the One for all product and thought I'd give the technology another go. It's worth reading the instructions carefully but after an hour or so I've now got my LG tv, Humax Freesat, Humax Freeview, Yamaha amp, Sony Bluray running well from one remote. If you find the odd button(aux 1-3 on my amp) or even a whole device (second Humax box on different remote channel) doesn't work correctly then the button learn feature is fabulous but follow the instructions carefully and point the original and One for all remotes fairly closely together. Overall - great piece of kit.

Didn’t work for my tv
Says it works for all TVs but couldn’t get it working on mine. Instructions are easy to read once you find the right ones but there’s different instructions for different ways to connect it to your tv and none of the ways worked. The tv is a few years old but didn’t think it would be a problem. Probsbly works better for newer or smart TVs

Easy to set up
My TV is around 8 years old now, and the remote is starting to show its age. Rather than buy a replacement OEM one, I went for a One-4-All multi-remote so I don't have to scrabble around for the right remote for the relevant device.Set up is easy - push a button, push another button until a light blinks twice, enter a code, and see if the buttons do what you expect. There are hundreds of codes for almost every manufacturer. I was lucky - the first code I chose worked albeit with some functions not mapped to buttons. This is where the learn function comes in.If not all your OEM remote functions are mapped, you can "teach" the One-4-All the missing ones. Again, this is easy - button, flashes, code, push the button you want to map to, push the button on the OEM you want to be mapped, push first button until light flashes again. It took me a couple of minutes to map everything and it's all done. I even found codes for the amp, the freeview box, and the XBox 360Great price from Amazon, but remember to buy batteries - none are supplied. You'll need 2xAA

Does not control devices simultaneously
While fiddly to program, the controller does work with all devices. However, it only controls one device at a time, therefore if you have a tv, an amp and a sky box (which all need to be on at the same time) it will only switch one on.Also, it does not change the the amp input (sky, Apple TV, game etc.) so pretty useless if you have this set up.

Lifesaver
My old, very old One for All 10 finally gave up, it would just completely drain new batteries in 5 minutes. I searched and searched for the same style, ie pale blue illumination but couldn't find one, only second hand which looked badly worn or damaged with no guarantee they worked. Thank god the company still manufacture these remotes as I love the learning features. I have a Samsung 4K TV, Pioneer receiver which all my sound goes through, Sony 4K DVD player, Sky HD not Q, I don't trust that, a small LG TV next to the 65 inch Samsung so I can watch 2 things at once. All devices were soon up and running with the direct learning function saving the day on extra short cuts. What impressed me too was we have LED wall lights either side of the TV and I assigned the HI-FI button to them, using the original small remote that came with the lights, it added them perfectly. I recommend this remote for it's very simple set up. The only negative I can mention is that each device button needs to be larger with brighter wording as you can't see a thing at night. Maybe adding an illuminous coating to the buttons would help immensely, I'm so used to using the old style One for All remotes that illuminate as soon as you pick them up. I still have an old One for All 6 in the bedroom which still works fine aside from these small issues, I love it, so much better than having 5 or 6 remotes clogging up the sofa.
