Perfect for vehicles with no AC in back
We live in Arizona so the summers get very hot and we cannot always wait for the AC to cool off the whole vehicle when getting in with our babies. We have had these in over four vehicles and not only does it give direct air to our children but the fabric pieces make it so if they want to hold the noggle it doesn’t feel hot or cold against their hands. That is what we do, when they were very small and could not hold it we simply clipped it or attached it to whatever piece necessary to provide them with direct air from the air vents in the front of the vehicle. We have a Honda CRV so the middle portion between the driver and passenger seat is very narrow but it’s still perfect for fitting two boggles pieces right through it to make sure both of our children have it. Also the clips that come with them and zip ties can be easily removed and secured whenever we need to switch them to another vehicle without having to cut the zip ties or such. Our kids tug and pull on the boggles a lot as they have grown with them until now at the ages of 4 and 6 and even with all that tugging it has NEVER damaged our vents. They are pricey but worth it, especially since the fabric cover comes off and is easily washable. Our kids only hold them so their messy hands touch the fabric piece all the time. They even have spilled drinks, ice cream cones, and whatever else on them outside and INSIDE. We have never cleaned the inside but others moms I know run water through it to rinse them out. But I’ve removed the fabric every winter to clean them and it has never ripped or slowly deteriorated. If you do not have good airflow in your car except for certain vents or have our problem of no AC in the back of the car than these are perfect to make sure your kids get air.

You must create a tight seal for it to work well
I get why people can be frustrated with this item. If you don't create a tight seal on the vent then it will be a trickle of air that you can barely feel. I didn't want to attach it to the air vent because of peoples complaints that it pulls or breaks the vent so I just got some double sided velcro and had it attach that way and covered any opening with window sealant tape. It made a HUGE difference. I think our dog really appreciated getting the extra airflow for the cross country trip as we don't have vents in the back. I also used the zip ties included in the kit to have the hose attach to interior roof of the car so it took the strain off the hose/velcro. It worked great.

Works Great
I truly love the "Noggle". My car is small but cools and heats the front long before the back of car. I have an older car with no air vents in the back. The "Noggle" puts air in the back for the baby and the dog. I wish I had bought a longer one because it gets in the way of the front seat passenger side . (It was the cost of the "Noggle" that prevented me from buying the longer one!) It does work but is extremely hard to put on. If you have a tool that will reach in your vent hole and grab the tie not a problem. (The tie really needs to have more flex to bend around.) I'm sure someone with more skill might not have a problem, but I worked for a long time because it has to fit tight to the vent hole. Would buy again, but the longest one to have more flexibility as to where I run the tube to make it easier for the passenger to get in and out. My air vent that I had to attach the "Noggle" to is on the side of my front dash so it has to run down and back to reach the back of the car. The 6' has plenty of length to reach but not enough to be a little more creative as to prevent a problem for the passenger.

Really helps!
I was skeptical about this when I first bought it, but after a few uses I was sold. My daughter used to overheat very quickly in her car seat. She'd fuss and cry, when I pulled her out of her chair she'd be so sweaty! With the Noggle she stays happy much longer in her chair and is no longer super sweaty when I take her out. It does take a little finagling to get it set up well enough to withstand some thing hitting it. I had my excited dog in the front seat and she put her paws on it and snapped my A/C vent plastic. Thankfully you can't tell. I hooked it up again, but this time anchoring it to a thicker piece of the A/C vent and a clip to wedge it in better. So far no mishaps, and I'm much better about unhooking it when it's not needed. I have so many people ask me about it too! So be prepared to explain what the heck that thing is and everyone asking you where they can get one once you tell them what it does!

Buy this! Especially if you live somewhere hot.
Have you ever had an idea and then realized it not only existed, but was also reasonably priced on Amazon? That was this product. I live in AZ and even with my small car the a/c wouldn’t properly cool my rear facing toddler. This product has been a lifesaver. Easy to install (does take a little tweaking to keep the vent open at times) and although the adapter doesn’t fit my vent perfectly the a/c was immediately blowing lots of cool air on my child. My baby is comfortable and safe from the summer heat and that makes this mama very happy.
